I used to watch this everyday as a kid. Just today I remember thinking what a shame it was to lose this tape. Can't believe someone like me has found it and posted it online. Thank you for the priceless nostalgia courtesy of this amazing video. I don't know what it was, but this was the most epic thing in the world to me at 5 :P.
Actually in the mid 90s they started creating fiberglass cabs doors and beds to use on the 88 - 91 and 92 - 98 bodies and all fiberglass from 99 to now which in my opinion ruins the truck
Oh man, i can remember watching this as a little kid at my grandparents house about 20 years or so ago. I'd watch this, then get all pumped up and take the 4-wheeler out and tear up the yard! Grandpa wasn't happy and didnt let me watch the documentary much after that
The original and forever the King of Monster Trucks, in my opinion. Wish they'd do more than run in circles with them - do the pulls and mud racing and stuff...that was epic.
And I thought i was the only one to have this at all yet.. My parents recorded this when i was really young.. Still have it on vhs..Thanks for Posting!
That were real trucks. Not the tube frame shit you see today. The engine was under the hood. There was a real pic-up body on it. And they were strong! :-)
@HammerPowered you are so right, and I also loved monster trucks back then, also cause the lights were fully functional, which was great for night races.
thank you for sharing this, that is truly the stuff that made me fall in love with america when i was just a little kid watching american things on TV being always enthused and in awe by the great magical things that captured my wildest imaginations. best greetings from germany. :)
I saw that truck being worked on in a Santa Clara, CA shop when I was about 7, it scared the heck out of me and now I wish I had gotten to shake the man's hand and get a few pics!!!! Awesome reminder of good times!
@Axel7043 bigfoot... original king, ruler, grand daddy, godfather and father to all monster trucks.. grave digger and maximum destruction might be top in racing, but its bigfoot that set the bench mark for all monster trucks.
I remember as a kid my uncle and me goin to see Bigfoot .and I know its for safety purposes but I don't like the fiberglass trucks either that's why I stopped watching .just rely on the good ole days.
i remember when i was little tha bigfoot with 10 foot wheels used to scare me cuz it was sooooooo big to a 5 year old i didnt like it to much but now i like it

Best part of these Monster Trucks, they did all this cool shit with real truck bodies! Not fiber glass!

Theres much more to do with a monster truck than race in circles and destroy a truck like Monster Jam does, Long live BIGFOOT!!!!

It's really cool to have the Captains Curse/ Grave Digger driver live down the street from me. I get to see those trucks sometimes.

I love Bigfoot I have all the green lights and hot wheels!
this will give the viewer a healthy dose of Americana :)
So is Bob Chandler considered the grandfather of monster trucks
Kinda a dumb question...

When they come to our fair, they run them on the street for about a half a mile to move them from being shown to the track.
i remember when i was little tha bigfoot with 10 foot wheels used to scare me cuz it was sooooooo big to a 5 year old i didnt like it to much but now i like it

Anyone got a link to that song about bigfoot? Its so 80s I love it
The tires have enough air in them to make the trucks float.
@MrChevrolet94 i would imagine back then the laws were a lot different!
