hey man! I just started my photobooth business but ive been having tons of issues with my printer connecting and getting recoginezed to my photobooth's computer. I have the Hiti p525l. I tried installing drivers but still no hope.... What other printers would you recommend?? did you have issues with the DNP when first setting up? Please help!!

The DNP is a workhorse! I have two, one for backup...but have NEVER needed it until after 5 years of running my booth, My main one popped off the dolly on a bumpy sidewalk. These printers are soooo dependable. I run it with darkroom softwares. Never have any trouble. I'll never sell them. My friend has one that he still uses after 10 years. no joke.

Hi mate, nice video! Have you ever needed to replace the print head? If so, did you do yourself? thanks

I always heard to use scotch tape, but this is way easier. I haven't had one rip in close to the 4yrs that I've had mine(knock on wood).
I see you still have the printer head sponge. Do you remove your media everytime you transport?

Yes, I remove my media every time I transport the printers. However there are other photo booth companies in my area that use the same printers as me and do not remove the media with no consequence so far either.

I gave up about 2yrs ago, and just leave it in, but I always make sure to empty the trim container. Also learned a hard lesson last yr that these printers do not like the cold. If I pack my printer more than an hr early in the winter the ribbon will stick and bind until it warms up.

Mitch I was wondering if scotch tape is OK? Mine is not ripped all the way through but about halfway through. Does scotch tape cause it to deteriorate?
