Hey Deep, This video was very useful to me. But there is an issue i am facing with the software, at times there are certain songs which are showing in correct BPM and Key. I am comparing key and bom show on my rekordbox, on beatport and then in mixed in key software. BPM & Key shown on Beatport and Rekordbox are matching but it is showing very different in the software. Is there something that i have to do? Gaggi.
Why when I analyze and song it says for example 8A but when I analyze only the vocal it says 1A for example? Why is this happening and what can I do?? And how could you do that Rekordbox analize the key of the tracks by using the analysis of Mix in key (because rekordbox sometines is wrong so I want that in Rekordbox appear the analysis of Mix in key only)??
Can you download them as MP3’s with them labeled and put them in your standalone DJ machine? Which one do I need for this I want to drag a playlist and then redownload it as a playlist with labeled keys and bpm and such for my DJ to read it. I have Numark Mixstream Pro stand-alone DJ.

Although there is one thing I have been trying to do for over 2 years now and that is to put tracks in Mixed In Key 10 and sort them into playlists. I can create new blank playlists in the My Collection tab in MIK 10 but I cannot add tracks to my created playlists all the tracks I try to put into my playlists that I have created go into the My Collection tab. I have watched many tutorials but cannot find a way to add my tracks to a playlist that I would like to create. Please could you help if you know how to get round this? If you could help then it would be much appreciated, Many thanks. BLZ
Most do, however without you actually knowing the key wheel this software will set up your playlist to be far more harmonic with each transition. Its actually pretty dope
So should you Update MIK 8 to MIK 10? I don't use rekordbox and i use MIK 8 only to load in new tracks, get the key and may some Cue Points. Don't think the Update is necassary for me isn't it?
Deep, i would do anything for you if you can help me with one DJ technique that i have not found any DJ talk about let alone teach. Lets say Track A is playing @ 128 bpm and track B’s original BPM is @ 132. I want to go from 128 to 132 BUT while the track B is being mixed and i am in transition. obviously track B needs to brought at 128 while beginning to mix it with A and beat matched. How would i do it? i want the track B to play at 132 BPM when it’s main/major bass starts. since i am trance dj please don’t give me cutting advice or any other gimmick. it doesn’t apply in trance. I want longer transitions in trance and track A to play @ 132 when the major bass of Track B begins or dominates( typically the point where i would shift the bass frequencies of two tracks.) And yes, all this without using sync. because with sync on, all one has to do is move the tempo slider of the master... :)

i was going to buy Mixed In Key but they didn't have full integration with Rekordbox in terms of cue points and Energy level. Are both these features now incorporated?
