Great overview of the program - I ended up purchasing it after watching your review. Quick question: is there a way to limit the number of cue points MIK sets? Maybe I'm missing something simple but I would simply like MIK to set the first cue point I don't like the way MIK sets cue points 2-8, nor do I need them. I know I can go through each track and delete them one by one, or right-click on a track and delete them all but I can do that in Serato and adds time to my preparation process. Thanks!
Unfortunately no, I emailed them already and I got a pretty generic email back about them, You can very quickly move them around in MIK itself they say, I don't care enough, I have always just let it over write them
I have been exclusively mixing in key. And people tell me, my sets are some of the best they've ever heard... Anybody that tells you otherwise probably has weak sets...
@TheDJConnect I'm being absolutely serious.... The last thing you would want your audience to do would be for them to hear my mix and then your mix... I promise you you would be crushed... Like a tin can my brother...
The point is DJs you don’t have to limit yourself doing 4a to3a or 5a don’t limit yourself if it works ok if not don’t do that mix pick another no problem
I've been upgrading since MIK 7 and I wish it had the ability to add cue points to 32 beats past the first cue point and 32 or 64 beats before the song ends.
@@TheDJConnect Maybe you'll be more influential than me. I've been asking them for this since version 9. At least give us the option of having its algorithm place cues on the 32 or 64 which is highly useful when we are trying to phase mix between songs that have a 32 beat intro with a track that has a 64 beat outro or vice versa.

But essentially they said it's a take it or leave it situation
I’m going to look into mixed in key no doubt
Ya bro, for the price, def the best upgrade you can get for your workflow
Great Video but did you now find that after moving your files to your dj program, you now have missing files in Mixed In Key?
Ya I never kept a library in mixed in key
But depending how well the crate system works
I'm gonna run everything and than see how it works

Id say I mix in key 40% of the time
I will gladly go set for set
@TheDJConnect are you sure you want to get crushed?

@@davidbuchanan9273 hahahaha sounds good
How much you wanna put up ?
You good with a live stream battle ?
I'll get some judges
Bite rate is also helpful
I should have said anything under 192 is trash

@@ALTERNATIVEMIXTAPESI second this.
It's not plus + 7 to do a energy mix. It's 3 and 5
