The chaos is endless here 🤣🤣🤣 I’m so glad you like the long format because that’s exactly what I do when I’m watching my favorite Booktubers long videos too!!! THE BEST background noise!!
I always look forward to these tbr videos because they get better every time and they are always so much fun to watch. You really had me laughing and i enjoyed watching. I hope that May is a great reading month for you.💕💕
Oh the squeal I squelt when I saw how long this video was 😊 I balled up all my courage this month and read Iron Flame, and all I can say is definitely don't go into it until you're ready for it. I still enjoyed it, but I 100% understand the polorizing reviews now. Also thrilled to say that I'm wrapping up the last 200 pages of Silver Flames before joining the bookclub with The Bridge Kingdom this month. So excited!
I'm so glad you were excited! When I was editing, I was so excited to see how all the footage added up on the time! ❤️ Ooo that is a really interesting testimonial of Iron Flame - I'm so intrigued to see what I think because it seems pretty 50/50! My mission is to make progress in Bridge Kingdom tomorrow!
Lyndsay - I watch a lot of book tubers, the young girlies used to be my favorite, but I am an old lady of 63, and you have quickly become my favorite! You keep it real, and I appreciate a more mature outlook. Love you girl! Thank you for all you do.
Wow, what a sweet comment! I know EXACTLY what you're talking about too - I watch all of the popular book girlies (& adore them to pieces) but sometimes I find it hard to fully relate to their interpretations or commentary because I just feel as though we're at different stages in life! I know in my early twenties, I would have had the exact same reactions, but in my mid thirties, totally different! LOVE YOU TOOOOOO!!!! 🎉 & you are so welcome - this book community is my second favorite thing (after my family! 🥺). Thank you for being here!
🤧🤧 this emoji is one of my favorites. Maybe its just my gen but we often use this in tandem with 😭 and 🥺. I don't always use it for being sick but more so for sad moments.
Rewatch of the video and always fun to watch. I added 24 in 2024 spin, series to continue spin, and series to start spin. I wrote down most of the prompts from the prompt wheel since some didn't work for me and going to have them drawn instead. My daughter is excited cause I change out the prompts each month so we don't get duplicates until we have drawn all the prompts and then add them all in again. Happy reading!
Laughing so hard when you said anything but romance and then it landed on romance 😂😂 The only summery fantasy I can think of off the top of my head is House in the Cerulean Sea, that’s hard!! Beach Read is my favorite Emily Henry, so exciting! So fun as always! 😀
I should have known better because we know whatever I ask NOT to get, I get 🤣 OOO I didn't even realize House in the Cerulean Sea took place in the summer! I have that on my shelves! I've been wanting to see what I think of her writing for sooo long & I can't wait to jump into Beach Read!
Thank you so much! ☀️ I love to hear that because that's exactly what I do with TH-cam at home too! It's the perfect background content to keep me focused!
I absolutely agree with you about the permanent sticker. It drives me nuts!! I’ve read Beach Read which is my favorite Emily Henry book. And the full Caraval series. I actually read all three just last month. I liked the first book, but the second two were even better.
Right?! Just use a regular sticker that I can remove if I want or leave on if I want! Simple! Wow! All three books in one month - you go, girl! That's amazing! 💪 I can't wait just to see what I think of both authors' (Emily Henry & Stephanie Garber's) writing because these are two that I've heard will change my life! 🎉
lol yeah I was determined to see what happens in the rest of the series. Plus I’ve heard Stephenie Garber’s continuation series, Once Upon a Broken Heart, is even better so I wanted to be able to get to those.😂
Love that only 10 mins into the video I had already burst out laughing multiple times! Have to say the intro of you trying to find your iPad, "Siri how much wine have you had today" and "as long as we don't land on romance" - lands on a other romance wedge were some of my favs 😂 The first thing I thought of for the tissue emoji was a Snow White Retelling (Sneezy) 🤧 I do like how you went down the chronic illness route
Ughh The Bridge Kingdom series is soo good! 🤌 I'm currently reading the 3rd book and the series is one of my faves! Also, I think I'm one of those only few people who hasn't read Fourth Wing 🫣 YET! This video was so wonderful, like all of them! Love your content! 🥰🏖️
You just made me even more excited to read it with our book club this month! I think I’m going to get totally hooked on it! Maybe a new favorite series in my further?! 🤞🏼 I looooooooved Fourth Wing! It was my favorite read of 2023! For me, it was one of those books that I just got lost in. I think I finished it in 2 days! 🐉 so happy you’re here💜
YAYAY ANOTHER VIDEO❤❤ i have read beach read off the stack and i can definetely see why people love her books and I did enjoy the story I just felt as though this story in particular was very slow!! but I hope you enjoy it!!!🏖️ i cant wait to see these books in your future challenge videos!!🥰 i would say you bring both kindle books (obvi) mile high and the night of the storm (i think that's what it was called) then maybe two physical short book like powerful and the swamp story?!?
I've actually heard that criticism of Emily Henry's books before so I'm very intrigued to see what I think about it because slow writing is sometimes not for me...I lose motivation to keep going 🤔 I maaaaaay be filming the intro for my next challenge video tonight on my first night away! 😉 You are so on point!I brought two physical books & my kindle!
As someone who lost their house because of the flooding of Hurricane Harvey, The Night of the Storm is super intriguing to me. Although with hurricane season fast approaching, I might want to hold off on it. Haha! I’ve only read Caraval book on your TBR, I’m excited to see how you like it! Have a great trip!
Oh my gosh, how terrifying & tragic! I'm so sorry you went through that! I could see where you would be able to relate to the story, but you're probably right to wait until it's not super related! 😬 I'm so excited to get into Caraval! Did you like it?!
There is a book called Maybe You Should Talk to Someone by Lori Gottlieb that has tissues on the UK cover I think so the second I saw the emoji that book came to my mind
It being May is so depressing. 🎵Where'd all the time go🎵 An older gentleman came in to the library and I said the book would be due on May 15th, and he said "MAY!?" His name is John and he was a sweetheart

Thistlefoot is fun though I didn't fully love it. I still need to read the Gilded Cage, I really enjoyed The Prison Healer too. My first thought for the tissue emoji was something with chronic illness rep. I hope your reads go well.
Thistlefoot sounds so bizarre that it’s intriguing me! I bet it’s one of those books where you read it, close the book, and go “what the heck did I just read?!” 😂
I love that I found a creator who is as obsessed with randomization as me! Your tbrs are my absolute favourite videos right now ❤️ This was a blast, I love when booktobers continue series, it somehow makes me feel productive 😂 Please start with The Lies, I have no idea is it good or not but you can NOT escape from spinwheel gods any longer!! And btw I think you had more than 34 books in shelf 24? Booktube has truly helped me to find the joy of reading again and I'm so happy and thankful for that. For years I read like few books per year but during this year I already read 21 books! Not very long ones I admit, but I'm so proud especially because my free time is very limited as I have six month old baby ❤️
I find peace in randomisation! Mostly because I think it removes the pressure of having to make the decisions myself! 🤣 I actually chatted with someone tonight about how the Hollow Boys is one of her favorite series ever so I think that's even an EXTRA sign to start it! There absolutely was a few extra on the shelf - I didn't recount that shelf and added a few 😜 I was wondering if anyone would notice! GREAT observation! Omg hearing that Booktube helped you find your love of reading again almost made me tear up! Escaping into a book, finding a 5 star book that changes your life, finding a new genre you love, or an author to obsess over >>>>> 🔥 21 BOOKS IS AMAZING!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!! 🎉 I'm so proud of you! Especially with a 6 month old baby?!?! You're superwoman 💪
Thanks, love! They're my favorite things to film! That's very true! I didn't even give it a ton of thought when i said it, but it would be more of a publishing company problem, huh? 🤔

Also the way you just kept trying to define the emoji spin 😭😭😭😭😭 “a cold emoji, a sick emoji, a wiping your nose emoji, allergies?!” LOVEDDDDD The Bromance Bookclub, I hope you enjoy!! “The genre wedge strikes again” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 and it really did with ANOTHER romance! loved all the chaos! I might have to starts spamming the comments with all the times you take me out bc these paragraphs are getting crazy 😭😭
That's such an accurate way to look at that - I definitely didn't spend hours adding each emoji to only use it once! 🤣 Siri's answer sometimes make me think she had a WILD night! You can spam me ANYTIME!!!!!!!! ❤️
I wish! We were in Disney in December, January, October & November last year so my hubby said we have to wait a little bit before going back again 🤣🤣 we are at my dad’s place on the ocean for the weekend!
Naomi Novak's His Majesty's Dragon I'd not Ya or Middle Grade. It's adult historical fantasy, retelling of the Napoleonic Wars with dragons. It is also her debut novel
I love this video every month and your making me want to check out certain books on my tbr list. I am planning to read all of Emily Henry's books over the next couple months because I have read Beach Read and I am currently reading Funny Story at the moment. I am planning to read Powerless after finishing The Final Empire for my very long I am not this finishing video until I find a five star read. I enjoyed Iron Flame so much and can't wait for the third book next year. I have been wanting to check out The Bromance Book Club and have the The Prison Healer on my 24 books to read in 2024. 🏖 Books to bring on vacation 1. Beach Read, 2. Caraval, 3. Powerless, & 4. Powerful. Hope you have a great reading month, a vacation, and happy reading! I also didn't realize A Fate Inked Blood was the same author as The Bridged Kingdom, interesting...
I love filming it every month! How have you been liking Emily Henry's writing?! I've thought about doing a 5 star read video but it may never end with me - I'm so picky with my 5 star ratings! I think I will really enjoy Iron Flame because Fourth Wing was my favorite read of 2023 & I already have Onyx Storm preordered! As for books I brought along with me, I brought two physical books & my kindle!
I am enjoying Emily Henry's writing so far with the two books I have picked out to read from. I am curious how I will rate her backlist. I am also picky with rating books 5 ⭐ but I am using the opportunity for it to help me read some of my books from my list of 24 books to read in 2024 that I figured would take me a while to read and give me time to enjoy the book. I have some fantasy books on my list that are pretty long. Hope you enjoy your reads for this month!
I have thought of a reading challenge you can do. So I've seen you love Disney and Harry Potter! (Girl SAME). Anyway, my idea is this: you pick your favorite characters (or randomize them) and read a book based on that character. For Example: Harry Potter Characters Draco Malfoy - Dark Romance/Acadamia Hermoine Granger: A library book (anything just from the library) Disney Characters: Merida: A book that takes place in Scotland Tiana: A book about food or a book set in New Orleans
I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS IDEA!!! There are so many possibilities with it too! I think I may have to do this for you next week! 🤔 How are you SO creative?!?! Thank you! 💜
I have so many beachy, summery romance and "women's fiction" (I hate that term) that I have no idea what I'd pick! I have several Elin (it's just like Ellen) Hilderbrand books and, you're right, they just scream summer, for sure. My first thought for your emoji was a character that was a doctor/nurse or someone with a chronic illness.
Me too (as you saw!) but there are just some authors & some books that my mind will only allow me to read in 80+ degree weather by the pool or on the beach! OOO a character in the healthcare field is a realllllly good idea!!!! I never thought of that!! 👩⚕️
Ok first/ I'm not sure why user name says funny chick- lol my daughter was messing with my phone and now as a 50 year old mother I get a stupid user name! Sorry off subject I do needed your video today, I've been in a funk and this cheered me so up.
Dead, dying, laughing to death 💀🤣🤣🤣 LOVE KIDS! You seriously just made my whole night & gave me the best laugh of the day!!! I'm so glad you're here!!!!! ❤️
Honestly, with how long you spent on the emoji wheel, if you did not make it a full time slice those 4 hours would have just been a waste of time, obviously! 🤷🏼♀️
My granny and I read Spin the Dawn together and we both thought it was just okay and have no interest in the sequel. To me, it was just a forgettable fantasy 😢
Have you read anything else by Elizabeth Liam? I wonder if it’s just this specific storyline or if it’s a stylistic objection that will carry on in all of her storylines?
@@sheisbookedandbusy I have not read anything else by her. Nothing did it for me in that story so I haven't felt compelled to pick up anything else by her. If a book by her did sound good to me, I would give it a try but I wouldn't buy it, I'd get it from the library first
I just love how chaotic your videos are and I LOVE the long videos so I can watch while doing stuff and not have to stop a lot to put on a new vid 😂❤

Always 🩵
Naomi Novak's His Majesty's Dragon I'd not Ya or Middle Grade. It's adult historical fantasy, retelling of the Napoleonic Wars with dragons. It is also her debut novel
Yes, a few people have commented that & now I'm even MORE intrigued because that sounds amazing! 🐉
That emoji makes me think of a really sad book that makes you cry so hard you need a tissue!
Why didn’t I think of that!? 🤧
@@sheisbookedandbusy love all of the books you got this month though, excited to see your thoughts!!
It's a really great stack!
Unremovable stickers bothers a lot of people. For me it depends on the sticker and where it is placed
There is very little that irritates me more than a permanent sticker 😜
i usually use the 🤧 to imply i just finished crying. 🤣
I've seen a few people say the same thing! I didn't even think about it that way! 🤧
I'll be rooting you on! I've only read about 4 books off my 24 in 24 🤦♀️ Happy reading!
Marriage for one would be perfect for the emoji prompt
Oooo I totally get what you mean! I read that one last year!
For the emoji I was thinking sad!
Yes! That totally could have worked! 🤧
I have thought of a reading challenge you can do. So I've seen you love Disney and Harry Potter! (Girl SAME). Anyway, my idea is this: you pick your favorite characters (or randomize them) and read a book based on that character.
For Example: Harry Potter Characters
Draco Malfoy - Dark Romance/Acadamia
Hermoine Granger: A library book (anything just from the library)
Disney Characters:
Merida: A book that takes place in Scotland
Tiana: A book about food or a book set in New Orleans
I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS IDEA!!! There are so many possibilities with it too! I think I may have to do this for you next week! 🤔 How are you SO creative?!?! Thank you! 💜
A mermaid/siren fantasy for summer?
Or vacation thrillers, maybe?
That would have been such a great idea!!! 🧜♀️
I did find one vacation "rich women drama" book! Definitely a good idea!
novik's dragon series is a fantasy like reimagination of Neapolitan War if Dragons existed... not really young adult tho.
oooo now I'm even more intrigued! I don't know where I got the impression that it was YA! Maybe I just made it up 🤣
I have so many beachy, summery romance and "women's fiction" (I hate that term) that I have no idea what I'd pick!
best vid ver
You're the best! 🌸
Kleenex emoji could deal with books that are about plagues, outbreaks or someone with an illness!
Yes! I ended up finding some options with chronically ill main characters! 🤧
Ok first/ I'm not sure why user name says funny chick- lol my daughter was messing with my phone and now as a 50 year old mother I get a stupid user name! Sorry off subject
I do needed your video today, I've been in a funk and this cheered me so up.
Dead, dying, laughing to death 💀🤣🤣🤣 LOVE KIDS! You seriously just made my whole night & gave me the best laugh of the day!!!
I'm so glad you're here!!!!! ❤️
3rd time? It has got to be yoir first read of the month then!
I think it’s a sign that it’s been chosen so much! What if this series turns out to be my new favorite of all time?!
@@sheisbookedandbusy or.. your least favorite and the TBR is trying to tell you to unhaul it 🤭
Geez, I hope not since I own the entire 5 book series (of course) 🤣
We need a new video!! I'm having withdrawals
Ooooohhhh I miiiiiiiight have something coming in the next few days for you!!!! 😉
New video is up for you!! 💕
Honestly, with how long you spent on the emoji wheel, if you did not make it a full time slice those 4 hours would have just been a waste of time, obviously! 🤷🏼♀️
It's only time efficient to use it every month! 🙏
If a book by her did sound good to me, I would give it a try but I wouldn't buy it, I'd get it from the library first
I totally get what you mean. I have authors that I feel that way about too!
🏖️
First & foremost, love your @ name! 🖤💙🖤 & second of all, thanks for watching! 💐
