I was at Jamul for the RG series . Would agree with most of your assesments. The TD for the tournament was a RG employee i believe. Defintely giving idgaf vibes but i guess if your 60 years old and TD of a down bad tournament series your. not going to be the best of the best. So i think grading the whole management team on the TD is not fair. Had some good dealers but that was the exception. I only played about an hour of cash in between tournaments but was told the drop was $5 with promotion watched them drop only $5 as well but I was at the 1/3 game so not sure if they drop a different amount at other games. I know a few rooms drop an extra for plo because it is less hands per hour. Check out 7 mile next time your in san diego my favorite room in SoCal small room but good games.

Sycuan has a nice poker room (a little small overall, 10 overall live tables, but better than Jamul) and the Mid-State Poker Tour comes through Sycuan every 3-4 months (has two weeks of poker tournaments with the top two tournaments having a guarantee of $100,000 and $300,000. The tournament is in the 'Hall' that allows for hundreds of players if not nearly a 1,000 players). The other 'big poker room' (biggest in the San Diego County area) is Ocean's Eleven with 31 overall tables for live tables....
i don't think you have the rake correct its 4 for live games and i don't think they ever spread a1-2 plo you could give a more accurate assessment if you went at a time without a special tourney, they are only every couple of months

I played there for awhile during Covid, the only room in SoCal that had poker during the pandemic. It was Ok, very small casino.
