    As per the pyq in 2015... and Information given.. Ethylene receptors are negartive regulators after Ethylene Binding... (after binding) ... negative regulators... but in question... Without ethylene they have asked mam... so No ethylene so recepors will be +ve regulators... As per your explanation and pathway we have to mention Entire signalling pathway to show receptors as -ve regulators without C2H4.

      There's nothing like main receptor - Total 5 receptors hai ETR1,ETR2,ERS1,ERS2,EIN
      Jo pehle report kiya is mostly mentioned in text books like ETR1 is Histidine kinase but ETR2 is serine Threonine
      You can read review articles for deeper understanding
