What To Do In Guatapé Colombia

Hey World Creators!
Today we dive back into the beautiful town and area of Guatapé Colombia! If you have been following the channel for the a bit you will remember this beautiful and colorful little town. Well I made it back down there. But this time it was for a little over a week! I wanted to showcase that there is PLENTY to do when visiting this lovely little community and lake town. The entire region is beautiful and has lush jungle and farms. IN this video we take about the history of the lake and the region and how this reservoir, that is only 50 years old, came to be. We also visit the El Penol replica town, visit the monument of the original El Penol town, got on a boat ride, rid in TukTuks, and see a lot of BEAUTIFUL views of La Piedra Del Penol, the big rock!
Colombia is a fascinating and fun country to visit. I absolutely recommend moving it up your must travel list! It is growing and developing so fast, but still has all the excitement of visiting somewhere that is not a first world country. That is a good question. We didn't stop on my tour. But I know a few years ago there were some tours that stopped there. There weren't any fences that I saw from stopping people.
Would be an interesting place to explore with all the debris and graffiti.
