      @@kingdomjerusalem7329 ha wait...how? Give a reason or three please. We traveled to a rock in Colombia and showed people who might want to travel to the country. What’s so bad about that?
      (Please do answer, I’m looking forward to it)

      Kingdom, why did you say that ? . . . Narcissism is love to oneself. What they are doing is traveling and showing the beauty of a place in Colombia to all of us. They are sharing their experience with us. They are contributing possitively to this World with their grain of sand. They work hard, always editing their footage and making everything with love, affections and commitment

    Last year, at 67, I started climbing El Peñón. Ever twenty or so steps I stopped to-take-pictures. 😉
    Then I pasted a man coming down who only had One Leg. That was the inspiration I needed, I made it too. I never forget meeting him.

  • @enshinsenseidan
    @enshinsenseidan 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Wow! The striations in the rock reminds me of the Devils Tower in Wyoming. This video has a completely different energy than your PE vids. Did you have any safety concerns as Americans traveling in Columbia? How are things going back home?

    • @lindseyfw2903
      @lindseyfw2903 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m curious which vibe you prefer? We edited these prior to our Peru lockdown so maybe the editing style has changed a bit.

    • @enshinsenseidan
      @enshinsenseidan 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@lindseyfw2903 I think that Peruvian videos were pretty cool, but the vibe was always a little less carefree because you guys really didn't know how long you were going to be there (or if you would get COVID in another country). And the theme was how you were getting on in lockdown. So there was always that edge. Also, I could see the photography and editing mature in Peru. My favorite episodes was when Alex made you a candlelight dinner in Cusco in the airBNB that overlooked the city, almost anything with Mr. Potato-head and of course the cliff pods.
      The Columbian videos have been excellent so far. I don't think I have a preference though, they're all good.
      It's interesting now...watching things out order chronologically. Kinda like a Tarantino movie. A remix episode blending Columbia and Peru together would be cool. Like a highlight reel or something.
      Maybe the difference (however undetectable) was that you were are the beginning of the relationship. You and Alex seemed more and more comfortable with each other towards the end of Peru.
      Just my thoughts. Thanks for asking.

      @lindseyfw2903 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @TheTravelbum
      @TheTravelbum  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Good to hear your thoughts! And I think they’re spot on. I’d love to have some kind of similarity with Tarantino haha, that’s awesome you could detect something like that. And true, we got more and more comfortable with each other, but mostly learning to film and be on camera together, to interact with a potential crowd watching and not just keeping the personal stuff off camera
