I agree that the Too Expensive thing should be removed. However, I will say it _does_ have a secondary feature of putting a limit to the number of enchantments you can put on an item. However, this really only comes into play with helmets and boots, and it's still possible to get pretty much all the enchantments you want anyway if you're careful about how you do it.
I've run into it with swords as well. It's still definitely possible to get all the enchantments you actually want, but I've had to start over more than once when enchanting swords.
Maybe just add a “too many enchantments” text instead of having it be that silly “too expensive” text, xp farms can get you to like 1000 levels these days
I see what you’re saying, but I also think they already have that they have conflicting enchantments like frost Walker and Depp Strider. I think it sucked have to choose between those types of enchantments.
more importantly than that, Mojang should make all of the mobs they've added since the mob votes started being a thing actually drop something upon death. Frogs should drop slimeballs upon death SERIOUSLY WHY ARE SLIMEBALLS SO AGONISINGLY HARD TO GATHER IN VANILLA MINECRAFT 😭😭😭😭😭😡😡😡😡😡
Oh my gosh, that idea to make trees taller is _so needed._ I never use a horse in Minecraft, and it's not just because I have an elytra (I do, but sometimes riding around on a horse instead seems appealing). The reason I never use horses is because riding through a forest with one is a _huge_ pain. You're always running into leaves that stop you in your tracks and you have to either take the time to break them or search around for a path your horse can fit through, which turns the experience of riding a horse from a decently fast, smooth travel experience to a tedious pain in the backside. It's easier just to walk. If the leaves were just a couple blocks higher (like they often are on trees in real life) the whole problem would be solved.
The ominous banners actually do add new difficulty options in minecraft dungeons, similar to ominous potions. It’s plausible that other ominous events were always intended.
Decorative mobs are great, everyone loves bats. But also bats make for a pretty fast randomiser, much faster than the traditional chicken ones, so they have an extremely small use.
16:54 disagree entirely. Minecraft worlds feel utterly desolate and lifeless. Explore for thousands of blocks in every direction and you get the same handful of mobs all the time, and without the music, it's dead silent. The game *NEEDS* ambiance mobs. It needs bird sounds, insect sounds. It needs wind rustling the grass and leaves. Think of the bat. Often annoying, but it's FANTASTIC at adding just a touch of life to caves. Think of tropical fish; outside of feeding axolotls, ENTIRELY useless, except they add a TON of life to warm oceans and lush caves. We absolutely need small birds, maybe the size of a small slime, just flitting around, no point no drops (maybe feathers) just to breath life into the colorful minecraft wasteland ...fireflies and butterflies, two pixels, a glorified particle effect would be huge.
16:50 no, toycat. I want pointless mobs. I want mobs that interact with the environment and provide ambiance. like bats. or FIREFLIES. I want stuff that make the world feel lived in, even i they are kinda useless. like tropical fish. they have thousands of different kinds. but who's eating tropical fish? seriously. who's eating tropical fish. you can't cook it. it gives little hunger back. it can SOMETIMES be traded. but otherwise it's entirely pointless, practically ambient, and that's what I want. they should still do things. but those things should be of no interest to the player in terms of value. like a snail/worm/mushroom that despawns dropped food items (decomposers), or owls in the desert who hunt rabbits. you can disagree all you want, but don't make such a trash comparison with "you want ugly blocks". their function is making the world feel alive. just because there's no benefit to enslaving, killing, or capturing them doesn't make them useless. they are there for AESTHETIC. Could not agree more. Minecraft feels like a wasteland. Same handful of mobs....we need ambiance mobs, two pixels mobs like fireflies and butterflies, small mobs (like small slime scale) birds and mice, that would drop nothing but just add life to the wasteland
Holding spyglasses should also passively get rid of fog, and looking at a new Redstone component made of resin with it would give the detection longer range
THIS, i was thinking about the exact same idea while mapping a 2048x2048 blocks scale map (the largest map you can get) thaat it will make the spyglass actually useful, i mean, thats what the spyglass were used for in real life.

The real reason they need to add rice is for Rice Paper. Rice paper would be used to make Paper Lanterns, Paper Walls (as thin as trap doors but are center-aligned like how stone walls are) and Paper Sliding Doors (again, center-aligned). Paper lanterns are cool as you could use them like a firework by clicking them into the air where they would float away like a balloon or you can keep them in place by clicking on a block with them. They would have attachment points like normal lanterns, either above or bellow them. If the block they are attached to moves or breaks or changes state (like a trap door) it causes the paper lantern to change from it's decorative state to it's balloon state. Shooting a paper lantern with a projectile will break it and cause it to drop as an item. With redstone, you could make a really fun shooting range this way.
i feel like we should just have more slab and stair variants…like concrete and terracotta, dirt and sand and other natural blocks, etc, i think that would be cool
You do realize that foxes can do the smash attack with the mace right? The mace enchantments even work too. Foxes naturally jump before attacking animals like chickens as well and this is high enough to trigger a smash attack.
The Endibri idea is cool to me too mostly cuz it makes me think of the End Bees in the Alex and Steve Minecraft Adventures animation "movie" that Squared Media did :). Those End Bees looked so awesome
I like the flail idea. Not only is it a cool idea, it also justifies the existence of the Heavy Core better. I mean, right now you get a Heavy Core and immediately combine it with a Breeze Rod, which comes from the same structure and you'll probably get some anyway when going for a Heavy Core so it doesn't even count as an extra step to make the mace harder to get. Sure, you can place it as a decoration I guess, but most of the time you're immediately converting it into a mace. But this would make it a choice of whether you want a mace or a flail from your Heavy Core.
6:29 nuh uh there is a hard limit to how many times you can repair an item in the anvil before you hit "too expensive". and besides, while you can technically infinitely repair an elytra with mending, you can't renewably increase the *number* of elytras you have
The problem with End verticality is finding End Cities. The current flatness makes it easier to see one from far away, and as spaced out as they are, restricting your vision with terrain makes it more likely to miss one and keep going.
Thats not a reason to not have it. Could you imagine how boring the nether would be if it were all flat for the sake of making it easy to find bastions and fortresses
capturing redstone differences into blocks is i think a brilliant solution to the parity problem in redstone. sure, it can't catch all cases, but it deals with a lot of them. Not every difference currently is associated to a block, but we can invent new blocks to take the place of unintended behavior.
I do think standard iron items should look like the iron material in the game, but... Wrought Iron could be formed by reworking Iron Ingots perhaps, and used to create a bunch of wrought iron stuff?
Some of my favorite random ideas, colored flower pots, more stone variants along with other blocks, glass stairs and slabs, more fence and wall variants, ladder variants, chests should match their wood types, honestly chest textures feel the most outdated in the game and need a revamp, i made mine look like treasure chests, much more fun. The beauty of Minecraft is that, if the devs dont do what you want, you can make the changes yourself through mods and textures
Talking about stairs and slabs, I want concrete stairs and slabs! It'll let us use the main building material of the modern style much more readily, for example in spawnproofing, decoration, and more.
I have some ideas that i think could be good: 1: Change the use of armor trims or adding netherite casts: when i heard about of the armor thrims, i always thought that it were not organic and made no sense, i mean, in a real smithing table (technically an anvil) you are forging really hot metal, so if you are putting that much effort is to have a better tool, not to just decorate an armor that will get damaged in battle and scratched. So, i came with the Netherite Casts: these are casts made out of a heat resistant material that allows you to fit a netherite ingot and then put it into a blast furnace to heat it; once heated, you take it out and put the cast and a tool or armor piece of netherite and then you get an interface (similar to the loom) that displays the possible result of using that cast. The idea is that you can change the shape (and some stats) of a tool or armor piece, such as turning a sword inti a machete, a longsword, a katana, etc. Or turning the netherite helmet into a piece with full face covering. 2: adding more ecotonal biomes: some biomes transitions does not look that smooth, i mean, having a desert aside of a jungle is not the smoothest transition. So mojang should add more real life biomes that serve as athat transition. For example, for jungles and deserts, having the low-caducifolious jungle and then the thorn forest, then in the deder side, having a succulent scrub or something like that, and then a "Gobernadora" scrubland before getting to the most empty desert.
I think there’s a lot more flowers and animals the animals were probably just drop like feathers leather and food and have few other purposes but they would be cool I guess I’m trying to say I wanna farming after
I would like grass to decay when you walk the same path multiple times. Grass > Dirt > Coarse Dirt > Path Block. This would add alot of immersion imo. Also I think it would be cool that spawn rates decrease the longer you spend in that chunk
See, the problem with the popular Alligator falls in the same problem as the Shark based on their 'Already Considered' guide which I paraphrase, "No real world animal should be a Hostile mob and should only be reserved for Fantasy creatures. This is to not demonize said creatures"
Maybe an okay feature would be a way to beat minecraft in peaceful mode. A simple fix to this is to have the blaze rods rarely spawn in loot chests for the ruined portal, piglin bastions, the stronghold, and the deep dark structures. I know it'll make all those challenge videos obsolete, but for players who are either terrible at the game (like me combat wise) or just prefer a relaxing way to play minecraft (like I do), then this update could be used... Again, it might be a stupid idea to those who are better at minecraft than me, but I think it'll make minecraft better as a whole (in terms of getting achievements, gameplay, etc.)
also the parity change would be a good way to not replace a system that exists, but they need to fix some other things like: Quasi connectivity and the tickrate on bedrock for redstone being 20 instead of 10 before they can do this sort of change
Kind of funny is that foxes ALREADY using the smash attack when holding the mace. I saw someone who tested this and since they make these jump attacks when killing a chicken, they activate the smash with it. So yeah, already in the game.
Anything added to the game should have function because at the end of the day MINECRAFT IS A GAME! And its not one of those game like a walking simulator where you don't need many functions. Now, a Mob or item for display being added here and there is okay but if ten things were added to minecraft then 7 of those things should serve a function.
I feel like some people would like Minecraft to turn into "Fortnight" and I dont think thats a good idea. I think it would be better to continue down the exploration route. Improving the world generation and expanding on things you could find only by exploring your world and possibly even making it a little harder to survive by yourself. I dont know... Maybe even making it so you dont have to have a bed to sleep but if you sleep on rocks you should take slight damage and if you sleep with a sword in your hands there is a chance you take damage during the night. I think that would be cool.
17:11 what if instead of adding useless mobs, they added variants of existing mobs that are only different in texture. Example: muddy pig, every once in a while you could find a pig that looks muddy
You mentioned how the gold tools are one of the only pointless things, but honestly, even those aren't pointless. I mean, they basically are once you have iron, but they have a very fast mining speed. Its pretty nice if you get some earlygame, to quickly gather wood or stone. (Also in the ruined portals they come enchanted which helps) Also they do have the better enchantability.... but please dont waste xp on that
End update could include birds like the one in the vid, birds would be perfectly adapted to traverse the floating islands of the end. Just more flora and fauna nothing too over the top would make it feel alive and remain alien feeling
The strength, speed, blindness and nausea effect is a bad idea because in multiplayer people will unfortunately just download mods/resource packs that remove blindness and nausea because those visual effects are all clientside
if they should add non-despawn items, they should add a new enchant for any tools called recall that can’t be put with mending. it makes it so the items stay on death and is only found in ancient cities (recovery compasses have it by default)
it would be cool if we could use certain items for more stuff, like the rabbit foot, rabbit skin, conduit, heavy core, netherstar, heart of the sea, turtle/armidillo scute. these things could do more. what if rabbit and armidillo could be used to make other special player armor parts, similar to the turtle helmet, maybe turtle shell backpack?
i think the named items thing should be a game rule where you can change how many you can have at once etc.. so server owners don't have people abusing that for loading chunks and stuff as that would lag out lower quality servers
I think the view is that, one of the things that makes mobs expensive to implement is the associated features. We should give that up for now to deal with the large number of biomes that do not have any sort of wildlife, and get features for them later, maybe, like the villager workstation blocks from that big villager update, it's a good trade. Making the world livelier is higher import than each mob having a unique feature.
I *want* more things in this game that dont do anything. Give me mobs that make the game feel more alive, give me mobs that dont feel like theyre to add one decorative block to the players inventory and nothing else. I want things that I cant interact with in any way so that way the game feels like a world rather than a game. Sometimes its just nice to have a pretty thing to look at. A thing thats cool. A thing that adds life to minecraft.
they should add that carpenter blocks mod to vanilla, the one that you can make a wooden frame shape, and rightclick it to cover it with a block. it would allow for near endless building without having to add that many blocks.
Maybe just placing the ominous banner in a village should give you the bad omen effect And placing the ominous banner in a trial chamber makes the trial chamber ominous
Merry Christmas. They should add the abilty to silk touch spawners that are not in the trial chambers, leave them thw way they are. But the spider zombie blaze skeleton all of them mineable.
@EmperorPenguin1217 not really going through getting silk touch and finding spawners to rhe silk touch. I've completed all the achievements. I just have cheats on my long term survival world and then when I silk touch a skelton I can relocate said spawner. If they made the change I'd restart, I'm debating on restarting already depending ehat theses new biome or what ever they teased.
we should get a tool that breaks those non tool blocks, like hay bales and other toolless blocks. somethign like a glove for increasing breaking speed for certain blocks when held in the off hand.
10:56. I haven't noticed this being a problem anymore. I thought they fixed this a few months before they added hardcore mode, and its been working just fine for me.
01:58, Additionally to the different kinds of honey, there could be different kinds of bees that enjoy pollinating certain flowers, making honey with extra effects in the process! This would work best not only because it adds diversity, but because we need to learn as a society that there are many different types of bees, not just the European bees that receive so much attention, so it could add native bees from many different places, such as bumblebees and native bees from South America and Australia! Please like my comment if you agree and also love bees and the ecosystem :) it would help a lot!
Ik there’s a dedicated page for this but I’m lazy… I would love to see a wind instrument for the noteblock. There’s already a flute, so how about copper for trumpet or sax?
12:32 I feel like it should be another way to get bad omen not the only way. I really like the potion idea and if we can be able to get rid of the banners that fill my chest up it would be good and every banner you burn increases the effect
What if the 'sea glass' would be able to be crafted into strairs, slabs and walls then it would no longer be just another stained glass, butit would have a specific use.
I think if there is an elitra recipe like they do with the armor trainers you can make more of the same way by paying them so that would be a way to balance it or even using netherite

if your chair is green, chroma key your background out with the color blue, merrry christmas total stranger
a freakin crocodil? no way mojang
I would LOVE a crocodile in Minecraft! :D
Floridacraft needs to be a thing
Merry christmas!
merry christmas toycat
I second this, recently I played in peaceful and it was... just so peaceful lol I want a way to progress though still
Right, I agree! Also, peaceful players should get hungry. It would make playing in that mode more dynamic, imo.
@@samuelzmommy I second that.
Hell yeah, skippy T crossover!
They should change mundane potion to be like what milk currently is.
also the parity change would be a good way to not replace a system that exists, but they need to fix some other things like: Quasi connectivity and the tickrate on bedrock for redstone being 20 instead of 10 before they can do this sort of change
Kind of funny is that foxes ALREADY using the smash attack when holding the mace. I saw someone who tested this and since they make these jump attacks when killing a chicken, they activate the smash with it. So yeah, already in the game.
minecraft limited edition is crazy 💀
I think that would be cool.
fortnite*
They should make this like turtle helmets, like a alligator scute legging instead of whole armor.
Toycat but arent all hostiles fantasy? Theyd have to make it neutral at least.
Some of the animal mobs are hostile if threatened, like the wolves and polar bears.
Spiders and Silverfish
17:11 what if instead of adding useless mobs, they added variants of existing mobs that are only different in texture. Example: muddy pig, every once in a while you could find a pig that looks muddy
You mentioned how the gold tools are one of the only pointless things, but honestly, even those aren't pointless.
I mean, they basically are once you have iron, but they have a very fast mining speed. Its pretty nice if you get some earlygame, to quickly gather wood or stone. (Also in the ruined portals they come enchanted which helps)
Also they do have the better enchantability.... but please dont waste xp on that
End update could include birds like the one in the vid, birds would be perfectly adapted to traverse the floating islands of the end.
Just more flora and fauna nothing too over the top would make it feel alive and remain alien feeling
The strength, speed, blindness and nausea effect is a bad idea because in multiplayer people will unfortunately just download mods/resource packs that remove blindness and nausea because those visual effects are all clientside
The alligators need an easter egg where if you right click them with a goat horn they’ll take it and start blowing into it.
How about a jar of mystery honey found in dungeons. It could be hallucinogenic, or slow-healing, or expensive Manuka honey that can be traded.
If we get crocodiles I will be so happy. Potential to genuinely be the most fun, unique and biggest personality of any mob
if they should add non-despawn items, they should add a new enchant for any tools called recall that can’t be put with mending. it makes it so the items stay on death and is only found in ancient cities (recovery compasses have it by default)
it would be cool if we could use certain items for more stuff, like the rabbit foot, rabbit skin, conduit, heavy core, netherstar, heart of the sea, turtle/armidillo scute. these things could do more. what if rabbit and armidillo could be used to make other special player armor parts, similar to the turtle helmet, maybe turtle shell backpack?
A flail would do less damage than the mace, but could hit targets slightly further away.
sorry for your loss andrew, hope ur okay
i think the named items thing should be a game rule where you can change how many you can have at once etc.. so server owners don't have people abusing that for loading chunks and stuff as that would lag out lower quality servers
Phantoms rule. Save the Phantoms!
Yeah same unpopular opinion but they do add to the gameplay
I think villagers should run away from ominous banners even if they are on shields because villagers can be annoying at times
People would be ok with that if they added ten or so mobs per biome in one whole update.
maybe phantoms can be moved over to the End instead of the overworld
I *want* more things in this game that dont do anything. Give me mobs that make the game feel more alive, give me mobs that dont feel like theyre to add one decorative block to the players inventory and nothing else. I want things that I cant interact with in any way so that way the game feels like a world rather than a game. Sometimes its just nice to have a pretty thing to look at. A thing thats cool. A thing that adds life to minecraft.
I want torch arrows and the potions to be changed back to their old color
Real,
Night vision shouldn't be green and strength shouldn't be yellowish
Maybe the coloderscope could show you where the current location of a nether portal is in the other dimension
they should add that carpenter blocks mod to vanilla, the one that you can make a wooden frame shape, and rightclick it to cover it with a block. it would allow for near endless building without having to add that many blocks.
That duplicating idea is great!
Maybe just placing the ominous banner in a village should give you the bad omen effect
And placing the ominous banner in a trial chamber makes the trial chamber ominous
Merry Christmas. They should add the abilty to silk touch spawners that are not in the trial chambers, leave them thw way they are. But the spider zombie blaze skeleton all of them mineable.
Allowing the player to just straight up take spawners would open a terrible can of worms, there should be a huge balancing trade off for that
@EmperorPenguin1217 not really going through getting silk touch and finding spawners to rhe silk touch. I've completed all the achievements. I just have cheats on my long term survival world and then when I silk touch a skelton I can relocate said spawner. If they made the change I'd restart, I'm debating on restarting already depending ehat theses new biome or what ever they teased.
13:53 Toycat x SkipTheTutorial was not the Christmas collab I expected
we should get a tool that breaks those non tool blocks, like hay bales and other toolless blocks. somethign like a glove for increasing breaking speed for certain blocks when held in the off hand.
Flail or mace should use prismarine shards to give the oceans another use
I suggest: 9 nautilus shell = 1 calcite block
Venus snare should be another plant from the sniffer.
Minecraft should add villager guards to the game
I thought foxes already can do the smash attack albeit only on chickens. They pounce high enough to activate it.
I feel we need some more magic stuff
Hey toycat are we still getting a video of the worst suggestions of the year? I really look forward to those videos at the end of the year
They also could add a new gamerule that changes how long items can be on the ground
I use mundane for weakness potions for villager recovery
Not the Skip the Tutorial cameo
oh my god you're handsome, but you're a toy cat ???
What if the 'sea glass' would be able to be crafted into strairs, slabs and walls then it would no longer be just another stained glass, butit would have a specific use.
Respect to the Toycat
also Book and Quills, Written Books, Swift Sneak books, & Wind Burst books should also never despawn
6:42 i sleep every day in game, the last phantom i've seen was 6 months ago, i was afk
9:44 is *peak* humor!
I think if there is an elitra recipe like they do with the armor trainers you can make more of the same way by paying them so that would be a way to balance it or even using netherite
