I use John Lithgow's children's books in my primary classes all the time. He is a spectacular writer, and his command of the English language is second to none. If you haven't read/listened to Marsupial Sue and the Runaway Pancake...run, don't walk 😊
The first time I laid eyes on John Lithgow was when he played "Roberta" in "The World According to Garp" in 1982. I haven't been able to look away since. Legend. (Bonus points for "Trinity" in "Dexter".)
@@MrQuickLine He's just excellent in everything he does, but boy, that Trinity character-for my money, that was "Dexter"'s best season. That dude was unhinged! If you haven't seen him play Churchill in The Crown, that's another don't miss. Cheers!
Very difficult if not in the UK (or Australia apparently). Pretty much have to use a VPN and create an account on channel 4 with a fake UK address. A lot of TV is free in the UK, but they do region lock it pretty hard.
Comments like this aren't very helpful of you don't say where you're from. It's obvious where they'll be if you're British, so I assume you're not, but we're not mind readers so can't help you much further.
@@AbiSaysThings It's hilarious that you decided to write this comment 6 months after Geomancers comment that answered the question perfectly. I would also like to commend you on being somehow both ignorant and condescending, truly a winning combination.
In Britain (and likely elsewhere), “cookie” means something soft or chewy while a “biscuit” is crisp. In the US, both of those things would just be “cookies.”
Edit the title to be 'Jon Richardson crushing on John Lithgow for at least 4 minutes.'
To be honest.. can't judge him for it, I would too :)
I think Jon Richardson speaks for all of us
Jon Richardson: "Do I come across as a bit weird?"
Man, that's your default setting.
I’m not used to John Lithgow speaking in his normal voice. He sounds so kind!
He is very kind. Saw him in person and will never forget it.

His performances in 3rd Rock was so over the top, but in a fantastic and hilarious way!
And the little nugget about Yoda was the cherry on top

John Lithgow is in the title but it's Jon Richardson talking about John Lithgow. 😆
They're both brilliant in completely different ways. Two of my favorites. 👍👍👍👍
The legend, that is Lithgow. His performance in '... Garp...' is unmissable, IMO.
John Lithgow is superb!
Such a charming man!

When I watched Dexter, I had only ever seen John Lithgow in Third Rock From the Sun. He made me feel deeply uncomfortable as the Trinity killer.

he sounds so calm here...🥰
My daughter is married to his nephew!! What a great guy, too!! I love John Lithgow.
That makes him your brother! lol 😅Congrats. Your daughter will call him uncle John - it works
Love John and Jon!
Give us more Jon footage, please!
I just have to say John's quite an artist 🎨! If the acting thing doesn't work out, he's got a plan B ☺♥
Is there ANYTHING he can't do?
@@britishbakeoff ☺
John Lithgow is a National Treasure ❤
So I am not the only one who wonders where these are streaming? Does anyone know how to can get these specials?
Not sure where you are - they are on Binge in Australia

I need my tomatoes diced
Lordy, just binge-watched Dexter again so, john lithgow is a bit scary to me right now.
aw wish he'd done Shrek!
Hehe
It's dozy David the stalked clown all over again!! 🙈
That was my thought too 😂😂😂
how can gingerbread be too-cookie-like?

Too bad those brownies aren't actually vegan 🤣
