Microfreak Clock Sync - Volca Edition

- In this video, we’ll sync my microfreak from a Korg Volca synth - in this case the Volca Drum. In this set-up the Volca Drum in the ‘brain’ and the microfreak is synced to the Drum (although you could make the reverse set-up)

Hi thank you for your excellent video. Is there a way to trigger the sequencer on the Microfreak via the trigger out from a Roland boutique or TR8S please? Thanks Again
Oo, I'll have to check the manuals for that one! I'll give it a go from the RD6 trigger out (fake Roland!).
Great video, I’ve learned more about the MicroFreak watching your output than anywhere else, and a new way of using it too, definitely going to try it out, oh yes, going to have to get a Volca Drum to add to the collection too! Cheers!
I'm always stunned when I switch on the volca drum, and these are like 150 bucks but also very deep synths! Thanks!

You're right about the Volta Drum being deep, amazing in such a small package, and for that price too, it's going to take me a while to get round it all! The Behringer Edge I ordered some time ago has turned up, what a thing, I can recommend it. It'd be right up your street I reckon!@@abominablemusic
@@adrianrabbage4996 yea, the Edge is a bit more desirable compared to the Crave, I think I'd enjoy it but got to be careful I don't splurge on gear... 🤑

What’s your opinion on the stellar Microfreak compared to the vanilla one?
Yea, I was late the freak party so the Stellar is my first freaky action. My understanding is, it's the same synth, but a different cosmetic, and latest firmware. Because the Steller was 'new' I actually got a fair price from Juno.
