I'm going to make three wreaths, one kept at full circle, and two crescents for the sides to form the Triple Moon. I've been wanting a Triple Moon piece for above my couch, and this way, being so cost effective, I can switch out themed flowers throughout the year! You're totally awesome. Thanks for the ideas!

For the book, you could also use a technique called “dry brushing” where you get paint on the brush then dab most of it off on a paper towel, then go over the book cover. People do it for painting figurines and it looks really cool.
I’ve made these spell books forever! I love them so much!!! I usually use all supplies from dollar tree (snakes, spiders and such) Instead of paper towels, I use tissue paper and the decorative halloween mesh type cloth (it’s sold at dollar tree and is used as creepy decor)

I bought a book from the dollar store to transform it and less than 24 hours later this vid popped up in my yt recommended. Gonna use this as a guide now lol. This was waaaayyyy more helpful than I originally anticipated! (I'm making the book for an anime prop) I was focused more on the book but the tarot dish tips were also extremely insightful and applicable to tons of other crafts. Not my usual kind of content but wow this was just an excellent video!

The book was my fave as well because not just because of the addition of the paper towel for extra texture but also to help secure the glued on items, like the bats, so much inspiration! You need to get some fishing line and have a spider hanging in the middle of the moon. This one is my favorite as I love all things sun, moon, and stars.

I have watched a bunch of these Dollar Store DIY videos before tackling the projects myself. This is the 1st time I thoroughly liked each of the projects done. 😊👌 DO NOT listen to the "Karens". You're handwriting is beautiful and the moons were awesome too. Who cares about the font you used.. it is just for your pleasure. Who cares if you put stars inside the crescents or whatever..it is just for your pleasure.. Oh and the 17 vs 18...really? This is all for her own pleasure peeps. She can make it however she wants. When you make it yourself you can do whatever research you need to to get all the moons lined up perfectly in order or whatever the f you want on your own project. This is a DIY tutorial showing you how to do it, not what to do. AND is it really necessary for 30 people to complain about the moons, stars or incorrect number?? I think 1 person "informing the thread" is enough. (smh) Oh and btw The typos was on purpose Karen!! 🤣
as a wiccan im torn between loving the witchcraft here in the book of shadows and lunar phases but also, just wanted to let people know that stealing culture just for a holiday isnt really okay, in situations like these i like to use this as a time to encourage research! These things are parts of our heritage and our belief systems, so before just putting them out for Halloween, i encourage everyone to do some research on wicca before hand! and to add onto that, why not research our holiday, Samhain, (what Halloween is based off of!) knowledge goes a long way and you may learn something new that resonates with you!
