We loved that route. Brittany Ferries are class. I remember a female staff member in the restaurant kitchen taking our baby boy off our hands for a bit while we enjoyed the delicious food on offer. Nice folk forty years ago…wow! [Edit: my memory bank tells me it was Pool to St.Malo and it was the restaurant manageress].
Love watching these videos. First did that crossing some 35 years ago when Mum and Dad were alive and brings back the excitement of hearing the engines and the boat vibrate. Then off eurocamping. I'd give anything just to go back and do it one more time. Lovely vid and wish you happy adventuring!
That looks a bit complicated for me....i think i'd be all over the place on the approach to the ferry.......but once you're on there's alot on the ship which, with it being a ferry i wouldn't have expected...
It's not complicated mate really. Once you get through the first terminal you just follow the route they wave you on. Yep lots on the ferries. Even a cinema on these
I agree with Raymondo. You get well stewarded every step of the way onto these boats. I remember well lots of decades ago we were so late the ship was almost ready to leave when we arrived, and the wasn't a single car. All the stewards waved and guided and we got straight on! Phew!

Yeah I know. Also did a rubbish job of it 😂 thanks for watching and have a happy new year!
Thank you for this video, driving on a ferry for the first time in a couple of weeks from Portsmouth to caen. Now i got a rough idea what to do.
Glad it was helpful! This is the exact reason I did this upload. Just to show arriving and boarding. Enjoy your travels!

If you're Godber in the top bunk, be careful if you sit up suddenly on waking, you can bump your head on the ceiling of the cabin!
Very true!
Cheers for this, Ray! Nice to see if I get early. I have somewhere to go and grab a coffee.
Welcome!
@RaymondoLeeTravel also space looked ok on this for parking up.

Its not bad for a ferry theres lots going on, almost like a cruise ship,
what was it like once you got onto the road network.👍👍.
Yep big ferry indeed and it is sort of like a cruise ship in some ways. The roads are great in France!
Impressive ferry..
Very!
That is one huge ferry mate😳
Oh yes room for 2000 passengers, just under 600 cars and it has 376 Cabins
@@RaymondoLeeTravel impressive
look at all those cute little caravans going for a boat ride. It is like a mini cruise ship.
😂😂 Jim if you rocked up in the that Home on wheels you Americans have I would be impressed with your roads
Nice video Raymondo 👍
