- Ireland scrum coach John Fogarty spoke to the media at the IRFU HQ this afternoon in Dublin ahead of this weekend's Guinness Men's Six Nations Round 2 game against Scotland.

One day someone will work out how to get the questions on a mic. Any day now.
It's the most frustrating thing about all rugby press conferences 😂 unreal
Well we’re not in a good place now, but the lads are working to sort it out. Ffs this sh1t has been going on for years now. Get a f@@king professional in! No wonder Netflix have ditched Rugby
This is the best comment ever😂😂😂😂, this is years now and i am sick of it lol. They might aswell be whispering
Top egg is Fogs. A true rugby brain.
Edinburgh is always a tough proposition. Last year in dublin the game was very close. The previous year in Edinburgh was very tough, we were one point up at half time and eventually wore them down. The big positive from last saturday was the great running rugby that we delivered in 2023 was back and we created lots of chances. The downside was that we did not convert enough of our chances, especially in the first half, due to untidy plan. I think we will get better through the tournament and have a good chance of being in the mix. Love the 6 nations, such an exciting competition.
You’ve laughed us off the pitch at most meetings over the last 7-8 years. I’m not confident Scotland can do it, but I’m hopeful that they can. Will be exciting all the same.
@craigus1991 you wiped the floor with us most of the 10 years prior to that, Edinburgh was a bit if a graveyard for us. It is a tough one for an Irish person because as fellow celts we follow Scotland whenever ireland can't win any competition!
I see that clueless RTE reporter who knows nothing about any sport is still about
Coaches are less positive about the game at Murrayfield than most of the tv pundits. There is no sense of complacency about the game. John Fogerty is talking about having to be better. He doesn't write off the Scotland backrowers and jackelers as lightly as the tv pundits. We hear the kind of message from Scotland coaches too. It will probably be the best game of the weekend.
I was waiting for a rendition of Fortunate Son.
