Ms C here... I am so enjoying your channel. And here is why..You seem to be so real. (I always say about myself, I yam what I yam and that's all what I yam! ) the sound of your voice is pleasing, you are ;more pragmatic that emotional. but this is the first time I have watched you crochet! We hold the hook and yarn the same way. Just another reason to hit the like button!
My favorite Christmas movie is White Christmas. My granddaughter loves how the Grinch stole Christmas too. She loves all of them and would watch them all year round too. Lol
I love the classic Christmas movies but I watch the Santa Clause movies with Tim Allen many times. I like how did crochet and knit both. You make knitting look so easy. I'm so jealous. Maybe someday I'll get it. I love the colors on the Premier cake. Hugs and love ❤ 🤗 😇 Keep up the great reviews.
My favorite Christmas movies are A Christmas Carol with George C. Scott and The Family Stone, also Ebbie's Story, with Susan Lucci as Elizabeth Scrooge. A Charlie Brown Christmas is a must!😁
The stitch definition in the crochet is amazing! I love the fact that you knit and crochet! My favorite movies are White Christmas and Miracle on 34th Street. We used watch Amahl and the Night Visitors, 1958, on Christmas eve. Thanks for all you do! Have a wonderful day and stay safe!
Oh I love being introduced to new yarn!!! My favorite Christmas time movie is March of the Wooden Soldiers! Gotta love Laurel and Hardy!! Hope everyone is having a great New Year
This yarn is absolutely gorgeous. I could watch you knit all day. My favorite Christmas shows are the classic cartoon and claymation ones like Frosty and Rudolph and them. My favorite movie movie is A Christmas Carol. I've replaced Die Hard as a Christmas rotation movie with the Harry Potter movies.
I love the way that yarn looks. Great swatches to show the stitch definition!! I definitely will watch for some coupons and get every color at that time! My favorite Christmas movie is Elf. We watch that and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation year round.
I love the way the yarn came out with crochet. My favorite Christmas movies are home alone 1&2 it's a wonderful life miracle on 34th street the oldest one with Natalie wood. And other ones and I agree with die hard being a Christmas movie. Thanks for the new yarn and the swatch.
That is beautiful yarn! Great stitch definition. My favorite Christmas movie is A Christmas Story. It reminds me of what it was like to be a child at Christmas time.
Oh, beautiful! My favorite holiday movies are Christmas Vacation, It’s a Wonderful Life and Charlie Brown Christmas. Love the Santa Claus movie your talking about. We had it on video for years and then video player stopped working. Thanks for sharing.
There is a craft that is called crochenit. You use a special hook and there are tutorials on TH-cam. Crochenit created by Mary Middleton. I bought the hook many years ago.
I love the yarns you showed! When you were making up that swatch I was crocheting and then you switched to knitting and every time you said knit, purl, I was doing that with my crochet hook. I should say, Trying to do that! LOL We have a cable channel over here that goes Christmas 24 starting in October and it is only Christmas movies! I tune in to that every year. I think my favorite Christmas movie would have to be Its a Wonderful Life. I also love Christmas with the Kranks and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
My favorite holiday movie was and is "It's a Wonderful Life"! But my niece when she was younger saw "Dirty Dancing" with her older siblings and fell in love with it, I don't even know how many times she watched it, I do know that I watched it enough with her to know the words too! 😄😻
Such a pretty yarn! And the combining of crochet and knitting, very clever! My favorite christmas movie is "Little Lord Fauntleroy", an old british movie (1980) with the amazing Alec Guiness. I watch it every year since i was little, always love the story, that cute little new Lord. (And Patrick Stewart, that movie is one of his first roles on film)
Love the old classics, and I have them all. But, my favorites are White Christmas and Miracle on 34th Street. I sit and watch them all through the Holidays. I have the old Babes in Toy land. I am obsessed. I watch the Hallmark movies too.
I think it is the Comfy Cotton you were referring to. This yarn is so beautiful. It reminds me of the Butterfly yarn. I really do not have a favorite holiday show/movie. I watch them all.
TY for the yarn review. Gonna add that to my list of acquisitions once I use up some of my stash! Our fav Christmas movie is A Christmas Story. We watch it while putting up our Christmas tree. My hubby has a couple of ornaments- Ralphie in the pink bunny costume and the leg lamp with fringe.
I can't believe that stitch definition!! Thanks for showing this! For movies, I love so many! The Muppets Christmas Carol, White Christmas, Elf, A Christmas Story, and the originals of Miracle on 34th Street and It's a Wonderful life are my tops. I like to read Charles Dickens' Great Expectations each holiday season.
WOW that yarn looks absolutely gorgeous 😍 I LOOOOVE cotton blend yarns! My favorite Christmas movie is The Grinch with Jim Carrey. And I agree with Mr Cinnamon, Die Hard and Gremlins is Christmas movies 😄☃️❄️
Thanks for sharing! I remember the movie u was talking about, I haven’t seen that in years. I guess mine is Home Alone the original. Have a great day!!!
Love the look of this yarn , but like you I do Not like to hand wash my crochet items. My favorite Christmas movies are "It's A Wonderful Life" & "White Christmas " & "Die Hard" ! Love all three of them !
I have watched quite a lot of yarn reviews , but this is the best. I am definitely going to buy a few of those Premier cakes. They are great warm colors that would look great with my tan skin. I love Herrschners and paid for the year subscription which gives me ten percent off all my purchases and one free shipping coupon. Love them and their mystery yarns.
Beautiful yarn! We got up early over break just to watch my daughters favorite, The Year Without A Santa Clause. She's a big fan of the Miser Brothers and their songs.
Good Wed morning miss Jennifer..hope you and your family are well after the storm in Virginia..my favorite Christmas movie is the year without a Santa Claus.. I watch whenever I can.. discovered during lockdown that my husband looks like the heat miser.. crazy hair and all.. I think I will make Hoodies for my nieces with this yarn it's beautiful. Thank you as always
This is the video I’ve been waiting for lol. It’s so beautiful and looks so squishy. That would make a beautiful shawlet or caplet. Maybe a nice asymmetrical shawl, the possibilities for this is endless. I really love it.
Just got my order from Herrshners today. I ordered the Canyon color. The colors are more subdued than I thought. It is similiar to Comfy Cotton by Lion Brand. A wee bit thicker and a might softer and wispier. (Like a diet slimmed down version, lol) It doesn't seem like a cotton yarn at first but am doing a pattern right now with puff stitches and hello! Yes, it feels more cottony as I'm pulling up the stitches. Had another pattern in mind for this but now I'm beginning to realize it's probably best to stick to patterns that call for more cottony yarn than acrylic or wool. Overall, I DO like it and will probably order some other colors.
Someone else showed this yarn several weeks ago and I looked online and couldn't find it. Now I know why. I love cotton blends and chainette yarn! I love Christmas but I don't really have a favorite Christmas movie... Oh! Except the animated one on Netflix, Klaus.
National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation is my #1. Growing up it was the original Grinch. It was only on tv once a year, just like The Wizard of Oz . Nice yarn video. I always try and watch the ads because I know it helps. Can’t manage the 30 minute ones that have been popping up lately 🙄
At least 3 podcasters usually review the same yarns around the same time, so people probably got mixed up. You, bagoday and creative grandma all seem to buy the same new yarns around the same time, ha ha. I can't wait for the momenti. It looks scrumptious. There's an english-dubbed movie from the Netherlands called Christmas Story. It's the life, basically, of St Nicholas. Great story, it starts off slow but gets so much better. It's not a Christmas movie, but I also love to watch Serendipity every christmas season!!
I don't watch Christmas movies, but I love the cartoons. My favorite is the one with the heat miser. I think it's the year without a Santa Clause but I'm not sure.
Love the yarn but not the price. Jen, hope you and your family including the fur babies are good during the blizzard. My fav. Christmas movies are the original Miracle on 34th Street n It’s a Wonderful Life.
I know this was recorded but I know you will read the comments so I just want to tell you I'm glad you and your family are safe after the storm. You have been having quite the weather. Stay safe.
OMG YES Santa Claus the movie is on our must watch list every year!!!! The Santa Clause movies are on our list. The old claymations and Snoopy are a must, so much so I had to get them on DVD. Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas, Micky's Christmas Carol, Scrooged, the kids want the new Grinch movies but I have to have the old school cartoon. Our 17 yr old is White Christmas and Miracle on 34th street (the old one) and my 18 yr old wants the newer one. My husband has to watch Its a Wonderful Life Christmas Eve before we go to bed, because of his mom and great grandma. We watch a ton of different ones. I even throw in Krampus and Violent Night. I can honestly say I've never watched A Christmas Story. We watch a ton of Halloween movies too.
Oh Jenn, you crack me up! LOL! Locking yourself out of your lotion bottle. I'm right there with you, so you're not alone. Our favorite Christmas movie is... "It's A Wonderful Life" with Jimmy Stewart. I just watched "A Charlie Brown Christmas" the other day here on TH-cam while crocheting. And yes, I love to see all the old classic Christmas Claymation movies I watched as a little child. Yup, I like the crochet better. Uh Jenn... side note, did we not have Tuesday Tea with Cinnamon, yesterday? I know I saw a video yesterday but I don't remember seeing you with your tea cup and talking about it. LOL! Maybe it's me, I was completely out of it yesterday. On "auto-pilot" the whole day. LOL!
Hi Jennifer, beautiful yarn! I want to try knitting again! My stitches get so snug, I can hardly slide my stitches! Maybe I need to try a different fiber and different needle composition and take a muscle relaxant, first? 🤔 I have always enjoyed Miracle on 34th street. I missed viewing that classic this year. I have had budget cutbacks and no tv for a few months! 📺😣
thats something i have never done before also, picking up stitches on crochet, what an idea, with knitting, where did you learn knitting, i like what your doing, i would like to learn it, so its not so hard on my wrists i have carpel tunnel
It might be interesting to do a swatch with the hand wash, dry flat yarn and put it in the machine and dryer. Maybe not such a good idea because of the loss of the yarn by doing this.
Is it wrong for me to say my favorite part of this video is "why are you licking my elbow"? 🤣 I love the look of this yarn, so I hit the link and Herrschner's popped up a message saying "Inactive Promotion" and wouldn't let me look at colors. Thank you for this review though! I will be looking for it at Premier in the near future.
I grew up watching Mara Wilson so there's no shame at all in my game when I say I liked the remake of Miracle on 34th Street as much if not more than the original. I also just adore The Polar Express. I think every part of it is as magical as the book. Also, when I was a kid I loved Prancer. The idea of finding one of Santa's reindeer - as an animal lover Prancer got me every time. Edit: "People once believed that when someone dies, a crow carries their soul to the land of the dead. But sometimes, something so bad happens that a terrible sadness is carried with it and the soul can't rest. Then sometimes, just sometimes, the crow can bring that soul back to put the wrong things right." 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤 I watch The Crow every Halloween and also whenever I feel like it or miss Brandon Lee so as a fellow word-for-worder you KNOW I had to add this to the comments. (Also, please tell me "Mother is the name for God on the lips and hearts of all children," is one of your favorite lines, because it's ABSOLUTELY one of mine!)
Yes! Die Hard and Greens are Christmas movies. I love A Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation. I watch those year round. Santa Clause:. The Movie is a cult classic. For a light summer shawl. One with lots open holes for the breathing.
I don’t know if it’s a typical Christmas movie, but I like “Love Actually”.
The yarn is beautiful. Nice color combo.

Very beautiful I love chain spun and cotton. Hopefully it will come to a Canadian store. I hate paying the extra shipping and money exchange.

My favorite is White Christmas. I love it.

Pretty yarn. My favorite is Santa Clause movie Tim Allen.
OMG YES Santa Claus the movie is on our must watch list every year!!!! The Santa Clause movies are on our list. The old claymations and Snoopy are a must, so much so I had to get them on DVD. Maybe it's me, I was completely out of it yesterday. On "auto-pilot" the whole day. LOL!
Tuesday tea will be back next week.
Pretty yarn.
Hi Jennifer, beautiful yarn! I want to try knitting again! My stitches get so snug, I can hardly slide my stitches! Maybe I need to try a different fiber and different needle composition and take a muscle relaxant, first? 🤔
I have always enjoyed Miracle on 34th street. I missed viewing that classic this year. I have had budget cutbacks and no tv for a few months! 📺😣
Yes it kind of looks like Comfy Cotton Blend
My favorite Christmas movie is "It's a Wonderful Life" with James Stewart.
Love that yarn!!
It happened on 5th Avenue and White Christmas
How the Grinch stole Christmas, the animated one.
My favorite holiday movie is How the Grinch stole Christmas , the one with Jim Carrey as the grinch .
Good morning Jennifer!
thats something i have never done before also, picking up stitches on crochet, what an idea, with knitting, where did you learn knitting, i like what your doing, i would like to learn it, so its not so hard on my wrists i have carpel tunnel
I watched a bunch of videos on knitting, and just tried and tried until it clicked
I also found it st Annie's. I linked it in the commemts
It's available at Premier now
Good morning 🌞
Good morning, can't see the color in Pic on the website.

(Also, please tell me "Mother is the name for God on the lips and hearts of all children," is one of your favorite lines, because it's ABSOLUTELY one of mine!)
That is absolutely the best line of the movie!
Yes! Die Hard and Greens are Christmas movies.
I love A Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation. I watch those year round.
Santa Clause:. The Movie is a cult classic. The second you mentioned it, I knew you are a child of the '80"s. I have the storybook of Santa Clause: The Movie. John Lithgow played the bad guy, and Dudley Moore played the elf, although Davy Jones could have played that role better.
Herrschner's has this on special right now. 😁 $7.99
