As someone on a budget I really appreciate your honest reviews and all you do to give us choices we can make with informed decisions!
And my other long rambling comment aside (sorry, I have just been so excited about this yarn lol)- thank you so much for all the work you put into your review. I really loved the wash test and that you had the forethought to make four hats so you could truly compare them all side by side. But knitting machine or not, that was a lot of extra work for our benefit so thank you! Your efforts do not go unnoticed or unappreciated!

The price of those big balls is actually cheaper than buying the small balls at the Dollar Tree. The balls at the Dollar Tree are $1.25 for 98 yards- yes, it is now the $1.25 Tree😂, and at my store, only a few basic colors. I LOVE Premier Basix yarn. I have to agree with you, for a basic yarn, it is definitely my fav.
Most items are more expensive per ounce or whatever the item is measured by at Dollar Tree & Dollar General.
You have always been honest in your advice. We enjoy your shows and learned things never thought of!!! Thanks for your time to include so many. Especially me as I set out to make each of our grand and great grands a blanket useing their favorite colors and making each one different styles of stitches. Thanks much, Brenda
On a per yard basis, Just Yarn at Dollar Tree has never been a bargain but it's a great bargain in the large skein. I did a wash and dry test on a lot of yarns. Washed and dried 10 times. Both of these yarns performed great.
I am actually using this yarn right now. A friend asked me to make a blanket and picked up SEVERAL balls from The Dollar Tree. Purple, rose and mist. All very pretty colors and it really seems to be working up well. I have so far not had any issues but it does seems to be a little...fuzzy(?) as I handle the yarn more and more. Now, I have to admit that I have no feeling in my hands,neuropathy, SO everything feels soft. Lol
Again, I kinda like it. No real issues and I kinda like the way it is draping with the loose stitch I am using.

My boyfriend and I found the Just Yarn our dollar tree. We both liked it and it was a really good yarn for him because it was affordable & nice enough for him to make his first ever crochet project to see if he even liked to crochet( he did 😁) & if he didn't it wasn't a loss 😉 I'm hoping more people try it out & maybe it'll spark a new hobby for others❤
I think it is great that more men are working with yarn. Inexpensive but easy to work with yarn is a must for beginners.

Hi Crystal. Thanks so much for your honest opinion. I have bought and used the Premier Just Yarn from my local Dollar Tree. I found it to be a very good and easy yarn to work with and I’m a somewhat newbie. That said I cringed when I saw that it slightly faded after being washed. I actually crocheted my 7 year old grandson a blanket for Christmas using the yarn and I had hopes that it might be one he could perhaps pass on to his child one day. Well let’s hope it doesn’t require too many washes in the next 20 or so years. 🤣

I really love the Basix, and I use it on really special items, but I do like the value of the Just Yarn and it works on a lot of the things I make for charity like lap blankets and walker bags etc. Thank you for your thoughts, it's always great to get another opinion.

I haven’t used the acrylic. But I like the Just Cotton. Crochets well. I made a pot holder with it and it turned out great.

I am new to crochet and I have been practicing on the Just Yarn. I love it and will now purchase it over rhss. It is lovely and soft with pretty colors. I have made beautiful gifts for people and they really like the yarn.

Hi Crystal this review was thorough and good. You can have an affinity to one and still be objective. The different paces you put the yarns through are proof, in our opinion also, thar it’s unlikely they yarns are the same. It is refreshing to know that they are still decent for many purposes and accessibility concerns. Thanks so much 🥰👍🏽

I love, love my Premier Basix. Then for more heirloom or special gift items your making I love Premier's Basix non pilling yarn. There are other yarns I like but I love their color selection.
I really love your tutorials videos and yarn reviews. I saved a lot of your videos for future project. I started this journey 2 months as someone who’s never crocheted before. Sad to say I’m still on the same level beginner’s beginner because I don’t have time to crochet. I work 2 jobs, married, have 3 kids, and 2 dogs at home. Should I say 4 kids coz sometimes my husband acts like a child 😂. Your videos help me with my anxiety. Thank you.

I’m just getting familiar with Premier Yarns and have really liked it. I’ve fallen in love with their Anti-Pilling Everyday Worsted. I recently scored around 20 skeins at Goodwill for $1 each, and it is lovely to handle and work with!

I've tried the Just Yarn in Dollar Tree. There's not much yardage so I'm glad to see they've come out with a bigger skein and it's affordable. You put a lot into this review so it's ok if you prefer Basix. We appreciate you!
