We had an F-15 pilot, a LTC, who was taking his retirement flight (with his squadron) who did this. He did it solo of course. But he arranged ahead of time for his ground crew to open an empty hangar after he gave them the signal and then he flew right through in a damn F-15! He received some sort of slap on the wrist but said it was worth it. After then all hangar doors were ordered closed for every retirement flight.

Red Bull That's not what he asked, he wanted a camera inside the hangar watching the planes fly past.
yea Flavonoidz, you got it , I was hoping to see a fly by kind of angle from inside the hanger. think that would look awesome. dont get me wrong the link they posted with the wing camera was cool too but a fly by inside, id love to see that.

@@spiritus1512 you'd be surprised, jet fuel is actually not really flammable. And this is a turboprop, with uses jet fuel
@@brodehaynie9399 These planes are no turboprops and they're on their way with a tank full of AVGAS (>100 octane leaded fuel).
They're all equipped with Lycoming engines.
But I still think it won't make a difference if you hit a building with about 150+ knots.
The skill it takes for these men to pull this off is off the chain incredible. What an amazing feat of flying. I salute all who were involved in this.

My Grandpa, who was a WW2 P-40 pilot, flew through a German hangar during an airfield raid because he didn't have enough time to pull up. He lived.
this is incredibly EPIC!!!! one of the rare videos it kept me breathless and got me goosebumps. Watching this video i felt the same as watching redbull hang glider events on TV 15 years ago!!! Air, Craziness, pushing the limits, go big and so on!
