To answer your question: This channel is owned by the specialist aviation, aerial and location production company you see in the logo. It makes part of its revenue from selling stock footage clips. This fun compilation video is intended in part to help promote this archival collection. Folks download TH-cam videos all the time. That whopper of a logo is there to keep them from using this footage that way if they download it.
If you take a look at most of our other videos in this channel you'll see the much smaller AeroSpace News logo off in the lower right corner.

2:11 Not the 1920's. That's a Piper Super Cub. That flat 4 type aircraft engine didn't come out till the 1950's.
Much of the footage was indeed from the 1920s but I think you are correct about a few clips that were included because they were part of a barnstorming compilation - but you make a fair point.
I noticed the car he climbs off at 1:56. Certainly not a car from the 20s
Congratulations Alek - you just added a trollish comment on a topic that was already addressed. And if you paid the same attention to the very tiny amount of content that was not from the 20s, but certainly included aircraft built in the early days of aviation, namely, a Piper Cub (not certain if it is a Cub or Super Cub but the Super Cub is more modern for sure), you'd have seen the descriptive text makes it obvious that in addition to the authentic 1920s elements, there is additional content included in the collection of barnstorming. So you have taken the time to troll this video but not the time to read the description which says this footage package includes Barnstorming 1920s and more.

Sorry about that. Do you understand the purpose behind them in that video? They are not remotely that big in 99% of the other videos on this channel.
Yes, of course, they're designed to prevent unauthorised use, though they're too low quality to be commercially useful as illegal downloads -as you must already know. And such spoilers are nothing like so obtrusive in 99% of other online videos -sales pitches or not. However, because you're posting's also got the aspect ratio wrong, as well as having a bigger than usual logo it ends up covering about a quater of the image. All of which makes viewing (for pleasure) rather a waste of time.
