Dont waist your time overthinking. If they want you bad they are gonna contact you. And even If they do, doesnt mean they are fully back. Sometimes they are lonely and not getting other girls. If they loved you, they wouldnt have left you.
Hi Beatriz, that is likewise valid but since we are advocating the active approach, if we have fully healed and have moved on from the past, we can take the step to initiate contact with the person. As long as we are detached to any form of outcome.

I like that you validate that it’s ok to have feelings and you don’t have to be tough and just ignore the unblocker if you would like to have contact with them. Sometimes the whole stay strong thing seems a bit unhealthy, like it’s ok to be weak when it comes to emotions as long as we aren’t being abusive or manipulative.
So here's how I see it:
Doesn't matter whether you blocked them or they blocked you
Doesn't matter whether it was your fault or theirs or both
The block happened for a reason and it should stay active
If you notice that they unblocked you, use the opportunity to block them right back and keep it that way
My ex unblocked me after 3yrs. She said it was over so I accepted it. I moved on and found someone who I really love, but why and I mean why is the person who put me through hell trying to get back into my life
It happened to me. I was in an abusive relationship and she blocked me after I left the city. 2 years later she unblocked me. It upset me a lot but then I just told myself "it's her facebook account she can block and unblock who she wants."

Might be wise to wait a little bit of time before contacting them because otherwise it comes off as if you were sitting around waiting on them to unblock you and searching their name to see if they did. .
I waited 3 weeks b4 I reached out...looking back that's probably not a good thing. It tells the toxic person I've been ruminating on them for 3 weeks( truthfully, I was) and had to reach out. If I could go back in time, I'd have said what I said sooner. Oh well, live and learn.

How soon is soon?? So far it’s been about 3 weeks. Hard to say when exactly she unblocked me. But that is just from what I can tell.

My ex unblocked me on IG after a month and half. Been about two weeks now. Haven’t made contact yet. Every woman I know, said not to contact her yet. It’s possible she’s about to contact me. Give it a few weeks. So just continuing the no contact.

Well what if they unblocked you, liked a picture but they have a boyfriend. She has one intimate picture with a guy who is obviously her BF so what’s the point of this? She knows I still have feelings, we were engaged. Is she emphasizing that I move on?
When I tried to call her 6 months ago she hung up on me told me never to call her again and move on and I was in the process of trying to then this happens, I never reached out after that call so this came as a surprise. Hi lilkendra23, One possibility that i can think of why it didn't work the first time you reached out is because he may sees you through too much of a "romantic" lens. Most people initially think that this is a good thing, but it can put a lot of pressure on him to try to decide right now if he's ready to get back together or not.

Good very early morning my man. I’ll keep this very brief. My ex and I were together for about 3-4 yrs give or take. Healthy relationship for the most part. We were engaged, had a kid on the way, we never had the kid. She had a newborn from her previous when her and I got together. Anyway we’ve been separate for about 8 yrs 🤷♂️ I saw some mutual friends and explained why we split, I lashed out because of the abortion. The mutual friends must’ve told her, since she blocked me the same week. Anyhow 2 yrs later she unblocked sometime around my birthday this year in August, I miss her definitely but I have not contacted her because I value myself just as much. Anyhow any quick notes you could offer would be appreciated. Thanks a lot my man. Oh and she’s showing me she’s single as well, no pics of other guys.

Me and my ex broke up a year ago it ended badly and he blocked me on everything but recently he unblocked me on instagram and I message him now and then but he has a girl friend I wish I knew if he still loved me

My ex best friend unblocked me after 9 months a few days ago, yet hasn't made any attempt to contact. She also has been asking some of my friends how I'm doing and said how she felt bad for blocking.I haven't messaged her and I don't think I will but can't understand her thought process.
Hi Max, I understand that most wanted to get inside the thought process of the other people. The best way to do that is to work on effective communication. WE have to learn to talk to o the person itself and not just trying to make assumptions. The best way to understand their thought process is for us to connect with them. That is why Communication Skills is an important aspect of the Advanced Relational Skills.

@@ClayAndrews I tried nc, every 3-4 days she’ll reach out then ghost on me. Today is the 4th days she reach out asking if one of her jacket is at my place, she don’t wear that jacket anymore. Someone unblocking you doesn’t mean they want to see you. They don’t want to see you in the blocklist. Almost like you are actually gone. You are a fucking stalker if you reach out to them.
