- " How Much I Feel" is a song by the American soft rock band Ambrosia. It was released in 1978 as a single from their third studio album, "Life Beyond L.A." The song was written by band member David Pack, who also provided lead vocals for the track.
"How Much I Feel" is a ballad that became one of Ambrosia's biggest hits, reaching No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States. The song's lyrics convey a sense of longing and vulnerability, expressing the depth of emotions and feelings the singer has for someone special in their life.
The song's catchy melody, heartfelt vocals, and emotional lyrics contributed to its popularity and enduring appeal. "How Much I Feel" remains a classic soft rock ballad from the late 1970s and is often remembered as one of Ambrosia's signature songs. - บันเทิง
David Pack’s voice and those harmonies are amazing
The guy in the grey sweatshirt hates that white sound.
That guy's voice is killer.
Oh yes. David was killing it. He voice is so smooth. -- Corey Roy
@@thinkforyourself6498 He's the youngest and probably has not been exposed to REAL music with melody, lyrics, harmonies, instrumentals and arrangements. Some of the younger generation just cannot relate to old school music which is still outselling new music today.
@@richardcogbill6791but he grew up with R&B which has all of those good things. Ambrosia is very R&B.
Why can't we go back to music like this simple but good
Get rid of the third wheel there. Come on Brothers, he’s in the younger generation. If you can’t feel this song whether it’s to slow or smooth you need to expand your vision to our generation of music. We group up in the best generation of music. Keep up the good reactions.
Younger generation doesn't understand that not everything is a violent hip hop beat or dance music. Songs were longer in the late 60s/70s cuz people were trippin. Songs were longer in the late 70s/80s cuz there was more appreciation of the instrumental aspects of music. Sorry if you don't get it. That is why so much is so "soul-less" these days. The music TODAY HAS SO MUCH LESS HUMANITY.
@@sueprator9314 - Rest assured we're all paying greatly for that attitude that brainwashed more than one generation.....it's fueled by hate and division.
Third wheel hasn't caught on, too much hip hop head 😢 He'll look back,
Maybe....
@@user-cb1og8pc7n - Nah ... He's "damaged goods" ... 🤣
I agree ..he needs to go...I haven't seen a positive reaction from him yet.
Some of the smoothest vocals and instruments of the time! David Peck sings effortlessly with ease!
My mom had the cassette tape version of this album when I was a kid & she wore it out. I can't even count how many times I've heard this song in my life. I'm not even mad about it either. Enjoyed it this time too. Thanks guys. 🙂
You're welcome. Glad you enjoyed it.
They were the business back in the day!!! This, You're The Only Woman, You're The Biggest Part Of Me ... they had iconic cuts!!
David Pack sure can write beautiful songs with such meaningful lyrics. There’s nothing more attractive than a man who is not afraid of showing his feelings and being vulnerable. I love this band and i was so lucky to have grown up with the best music. Thanks for sharing.
💯!!
This song did played on r&b radio stations across the country. Ambrosia is the definition of blue-eyed soul indeed. The song did peaked at the #3 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart during the summer of 1978.
Yes "Blue -eyed Soul " is an acceptable description. What is NOT is that friken "yacht rock" bullsh8t. I HATE THAT PHRASE. MADE UP BY SOME DUMB MILLENIAL WHO HAS NO APPRECIATION FOR THE INTRICATE SOPHISTICATED MUSIC OF "STEELY DAN'. HOW DARE THEY. DRIVES ME NUTS.
Gotta hit some Player - Baby Come Back and Ace's - How Long!
Great suggestions! Thanks. 😃👍🏿
Hell yeah! This yacht rock genre is deep!
Amazing song. Heartbreaking song.
What a great and sad song. Those Ambrosia boys sure love them some soul!!❤
America is another great soft rock group. Horse With No Name is spectacularly good. Even Janet Jackson sampled their “ Ventura Highway”!
Thank you always for these great suggestions. You are on it.😊 -- Corey Roy
You're the Only Woman and Holdin on to Yesterday are 2 Ambrosia songs you need on your channel. I hope my boy gets from under the weather and grows to love Ambrosia. They definitely have a style and are silky smooth. Also, Van Morrison is a must. Into the Mystic and Moondance should make you all happy.
Tupelo Honey would be a great Van song for em too.
Thank you for these great suggestions. And Yeah, I have no idea why Ollie was not feeling this song. This song is fire! 🔥🔥🔥🔥😃😃😃😃 -- Corey Roy
Thanks for the suggestion. Another great suggestion on the list. 🙂👍🏿
He s singing live omg no auto tune just talent no fake voices
Smash hit for me. That voice. Absolutely perfect.
I still get chills hearing this song.
A great soft rock group from the '70s was, America. They're closer to The Doobie Brothers in style than they are to Ambrosia. But they've got their own wonderful, distinct sound. For your first song by, America, I suggest their 1972 hit, *"Ventura Highway",* you fellas will love it! (Use the studio version from the original album, NOT the crappy re-mastered version.)
Great suggestion..Thanks. We'll definitely put it on the list.
@@thisisitreactions It'll be interesting to see if you or either of your co-hosts pick up on which famous black artist sampled the song.
I love Ambrosia, we were so very spoiled with awesome music, we didn't even know it. How on earth could you want him gone?? "Biggest Part of Me" is another great one.
I loved how CoreyRoy was enjoying this. Great song.
Player "Baby Come Back"
Thanks Jennifer! 😊👍🏿
Great choice, Jennifer!
@@TheDivayenta I saw you recommended America & I was gonna send you a high five 🖐 one things for sure, you & I live in our headphones 😘
@@jennhurl you got that right, Sis! 😆
Awesome song 🎵
It really is smooth. -- Corey Roy
Awww, this song draws lovers together! Thank you to the awesome dudes in the hats. The sour puss with the light blue head phones frowned through the whole thing! Please! Great reactions from the two cool dudes with the hats on! Love this song! It’s not creepy at all. People relate to losing a lover! 🎶💕🍀🔮
I was going to say the same thing…the two OG’s can appreciate the soulfulness in the song. Us OG’s know!
Listen to this tune over and over back in the day ... Great music and harmonies...smooth then and smooth today!!
I’m 54 years old I’m from Miami and this is what we call yacht rock. yacht rock was always a big deal back in the day until this day. I’m crazy about this music my daughter is 15 years old and she knows all of these songs my heart. This is a beautiful song and an amazing band.
This was my 🎵 song
Y’all must discover Paul Davis…one of the smoothest, romantic songwriter’s of the 70’s.
I Go Crazy
Cool Night
Crazy to think my cousin used to play with David Pack in his pre Ambrosia days and my late Dad sang lead a few times. Love this R&B soft rock!
That's crazy and a wonderful memory.
I miss slow dancing in the dark to this with my love, never got over him.
Love your reactions! Sometimes you’re ALL in!
Y'all have got to check out "I Just Can't Let Go" by David Pack from Ambrosia, Michael McDonald and James Ingram. Absolute banger!
I have all Ambrosia songs on my play list right at the start so this is what i here everynight as I go to sleep. Oh how i wish i could go back in time and be with my first love 💔💔😢
Listen, yacht rock is everything. And this is yacht rock.
This is one great song from lead singer David Pack to the harmonizing from the rest of the group and the story behind the words. Great choice guys.
Rollin old school!!! The soundtrack of my youth!!❤❤❤
This is one incredibly awesome song! Actually, it’s one of the best of all time. It has so much passion in it! Besides that, their vocal and musical talent is world class!

45 yrs later and this song still brings me back to that someone whose bday it is today- oh the irony ❤
They just don't make them like this anymore 💝
Orleans - Still The One. Guys, another soft smooth banger from the late 70s that I’m confident you will like. Great harmonies and great lead singer! Great reaction to this smooth song!
Thanks for another great suggestion.
You guys are great! This is the second reaction I have watched. It makes me happy to hear people appreciate good music.
Check out - Holdin’ on to yesterday
Will do. Thanks for the suggestion. 😃👍🏿

Fantastic song! Women can feel that same way...still caring for a past guy. 😍
SO SMOOOOOOOTH....and, the HARMONIES!!! Just SO GOOD! GREAT PICK, GUYS!! HUGS!! ❤❤❤❤❤
You guys are awesome I’m 53 and miss the oldies lol! 🎉❤❤
That was the beauty of the ''70s! The lines between soul and rock were completely blurred because all the musicians then loved both generas, and drew inspiration from one another!😁🤘❤️🎼
But truly this song rocks it out!! Man I dig it!
You know, I came here for XG, but subbed because of everything else! Plus I think you guys are DMV residents! Thanks so much for all the diversity. I’m grateful to have enjoyed these songs throughout my life.
One of the most emotionally evocative songs written
I remember when this group came out. I was in my early teens. ❤😊 Miss the 70's.
I miss the 70’s! ❤
This was the song twotimers played to get me back! BLESS THEM!
Never Be The Same or Arthur’s Theme - Christopher Cross. Guys he’s another smooth soft “yacht” rock legend, and both of these songs were top 3 huge charting smooth songs from 1979 and 1981 respectively. Love to hear you check his songs out. Keep on keeping on with the great reactions.
Thank you. And thanks for the suggestions as well. We will put them on the list.
Omg this is the jam
These guys were unstoppable!!! Brilliant performance!!!
Great song. Great reaction!
Glad you liked it, Fabulous
Love your channel and reaction. @OlliWoodda with the blue head phones? Who doesn't like one of the prettiest ballads ever written? You will love Ambrosia's "You're The Only Woman".
Firefall, Seals and Crofts, Kenny Loggins, Michael McDonald, Hall and Oates, America, Eagles, Bread, Poco, Toto...you can't go wrong with any of these bands/artists if you're looking for easy listening and pretty ballads.
Having grown up in the 70s, this song is on the soundtrack of my life. It played on the radio all the time and brings back poignant memories when I hear it. So beautifully written, I think a lot of people have that one person that their heart goes back to sometimes.
Great reaction, guys! Well, two of you anyway.
This song came out as I was starting my Junior year in high school the music in the 70's was the best I love the baseline in this song
One of the most beautiful voices in all of rock ‘n’ roll music
I used to live in fear of experiencing this song when I first heard it
And that’s what I’ve been doing for the last 30 years with a girl I’ve been in love with all that time
It’s not fun, but I try to look on the bright side at least I got it
Experience it
Greg reaction guys
I know a song that'll wake your butt up. Baby Love by the band Mother's Finest. 😆 It's from their album Another Mother Further. The whole album is great. One time the CD got stuck in my car player and stayed in there over a month before it came out, and I didn't care, I just kept playing it anyway. Then I listened to it again a few days later.
Never heard of them before. Thanks for the suggestion. It's on the list. 😃👍🏿
@@thisisitreactions 👍👍 if you do get a chance to check em out, I suggest the studio version. They're a funk rock band from the mid 70s. And still touring with most of the original members. A friend's wife actually performed with them a few weeks ago.
I've been really enjoying y'all's reactions. And love the format of three individual opinions.
I'm so glad you did this song. It has always been one of my favorites! Great reaction guys! hugs
Okay, I love this song! But, I'm thinkin that he's rethinking those tan satin pants! 😂
LOL!
You guys pick a good variety of songs.they sure do have tight vocals. I enjoy your channel.I’m 66 and was a working musician back in the day’s. Philadelphia area. I played all types of music. I enjoy how you talk about the songs ,I enjoy listening to what all of you say. This is a happy channel.very entertaining.
Thank you for this! We are trying to bridge the musical gap!
Gotta love the 70s🎉
Love y’all and your reaction Channel! Thank God for the music From the 70s and 80s!!! I was a wild Teenager back then! This takes me back! Love it!!
Old school blue eyed soul.
We let go, but sometimes we wonder what could of been, or what their life is like now ....but we usually know that there was some factor that didnt work and why we are where we r now...but u will always still care...
Dude with the blue headphones…. BYE! 😂 😂😂😂😂 The other two cats are cool and really appreciated the amazing vocals and rhythm of this classic song. Love your channel!!
Great stuff …. Keep going!
You guys gotta check out one more from Ambrosia. "You're the Only Woman"
Great job guys!!!
I’m old enough to remember this song playing on the radio when it first came out. I was like 11-12 and beginning that transitional stage where music was beginning to affect me in a different kind of way and I loved Ambrosia’s sound. It’s funny that I don’t remember the ending either, though I can now see how that would be true for some people. True and tragically sad IMO.
You’re The biggest Part of Me that was released a couple of years later was by far my favorite song by them. You guys have probably already reviewed it but, if not, I highly suggest checking it out ❤
The Heart can’t help what it feels.
Keep up the good work guys. Love hearing y'alls commentary. Would love to see y'all react to something like
Queensryche - I don't believe in Love.
this is fire boys!
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Homie on the right is killing me trying to contain himself
Same here. Feel your feels
Please do a reaction to "Biggest part of me" by this group!
We did. It's up on our channel. Please go check it out. 😃👍🏿
Corey perspective on the lyrics💯💯. If you’ve been in love before’ like deeply in love and it didn’t work out for whatever reason, I feel it’s it normal to think about that person. And base on your current relationship one might think, that was the love that got away❤
This song has always been one of my favorites! I always felt bad when he talks about seeing her face when he makes love with his wife!! Poor wife! Lol
Tha jam!
this is my favourite ambrosia song so i'm gonna recommend something else in the same '70s pop ballad vein:
"wildflower" - skylark
"i love you" - climax blues band
"summer breeze" - seals and crofts
"sara smile" - hall and oates
and though it's not in the same lane, i highly recommend "blinded by the light" by manfred manns earth band.
all these songs are BANGERS!
thanks, guys!
Did you know “ Skylark” was a very young David Foster’s band?
@@TheDivayenta yes! his 1st wife also was the backing vocalist on this hit. he didn't write the song but i believe he did the arrangement. it's so gorgeous.
You have to check out "Holding on to yesterday"
by Ambrosia
This is the first band Alan Parsons produced after leaving Apple Studios where he engineered the last 2 Beatles albums and Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon..
Oh, childhood!
👍👍💯🔥🔥
Got one like that - def better off having met and been with her for 4 yrs then never having had that experience - even though it's still sometimes to haunting past to remember and miss it.
🤘🤘
I'm 63 years old ,was 18yrs when this song came out.I am going through this moment in my life today.I was once told by a friend not to pick the scab.I don't know about that.Ihad a major life threatening issue that I recovered from .Made me realize that it is better FOR ME today not to keep inside what I needed to share from those many years. What do you think?
They've got to do Ambrosia's other huge hit, You're the Only Woman.
If you listen to the lyrics you realize it' about messed up LOVE.
Ambrosia has another song called. Your The Only Women. it came out about the same time.
The Writer sat one evening listened to Marvin Gaye and wrote this
Olli needs to have his heart broken to truly get this song. You other two have the wisdom of years to relate.
r&b ish; SOUL music, vocals; for real
