Everyone 'across the pond' seems to go all out for Book day, I don't remember my kids dressing up too much, but school usually Celebrated Dr. Seuss more, because his birthday is the same day I believe. (they are 20 and 23 now) You did an amazing job, and I bet your sewing machine wants to put you in a time out!🤣All of the other makes are beautiful too of course! I am currently working on cleaning up the sewing room, fabric post cards, and hopefully hopping back into garments after a few fiascos😅. When sewing your Lotta dress, have you ever found you needed to lengthen the bodice at all? I'm only 5' 5" but needed to add on at least an inch to get the right blouson effect. Best wishes, Jill.

Well, here in Austin, Texas we’re having a heatwave. It was 94 degrees F. Today is better and I am sitting here recovering from driving to see our daughter today and then driving home again. Maybe I will get time to sew this weekend. I am thinking about a blouse. I loved the costume. Our kids loved for me to make costumes. They never had days for them to dress up in school. It sounds like fun.
