I hope you persevere with your Donny shirt, I love mine and will be making more. If when you finish it you dont like it, you can always donate to charity so someone else can get the benefit. Keep going with the ilford jacket, they look so useful and it is on my list to make too.
Your green dress is lovely! You know you don’t have to finish the Donnie shirt! If you don’t like it, don’t waste anymore time on it……life is too short! This hobby is supposed to be fun, so throw it away and make something that brings you joy 😊
Haha thanks for that and I totally agree - unfortunately it is meant to be a blog post 😭😭 although it is very very late 🙄 I may just have to abandon anyway but I’m holding out a tiny bit of hope that I’ll get it done 😂xx
The green dress looks lovely on you and I like it styled with the vest. You have a nice little sewing space. It reminds me of sewing spaces I've had over the years. I do have a sewing room now, but I actually miss sewing in the dining room. I don't miss having to put everything away when I needed to use the table, and I'm sure my husband doesn't miss the clutter. He has said he misses having me close by, and isn't that nice after being together for almost 48 years.
Thanks so much Jennette! Aww bless that’s really sweet - my little space is just off the lounge so I know exactly what you mean about being near your loved one! I don’t think I’d like to be away somewhere even though I would love to whole sewing room! 🤩x
I know exactly what you mean about doing a few quick projects in between the more involved ones. I particularly like the navy quilted effect jumper. I might have to try that one!
Your Hazel dress is lovely and a great colour to wear all year round. I’ve just made a Be Mine balloon sleeve top by Pattern Emporium which I’m really pleased with
I loved the Hazel dress. I would love one like that for myself ❤ also the plan with the Nikko dress and waistcoat sounds amazing! I really enjoyed watching xxx 😊
Love the green dress, the colour is gorgeous. The style looks great on you. I'm looking to make a tee dress in some ribbed fabric too. I was just going to lengthen the tatb tabitha tee and like you want it to skim but not cling or be oversized. I figure if I don't like it, I've got a new nightie lol. Good luck with yours 😊
Thank you Annette! I’m sure the tshirt dress will turn out well - I’ve never made that version of the Tabitha even though I’ve been meaning to! Haha that’s a good way to think of it 😉x
I know exactly where you’re coming from in regards to quick makes. I have to stop myself buying jersey, because if that’s in my stash, I’ll sew that first before a woven fabric. I’m currently trying my first Nick’s tunic top. Just tried it on, but it looks very oversized. I need to make a decision on that. The idea of a reversible waistcoat sounds ideal, plus, it will take up less space in your wardrobe. Loving the green dress.
Thank you Marion! Haha yep totally with you on the jersey 😂 ooh I haven’t made the nicks but have heard it is very oversized - hope it turns out nice for you 🤞🏻xx
Oh that’s a real shame! I follow a shop called stonemountain fabric in the US - they seem to have lovely things. I hope you manage to track down some good fabrics 🤞🏻🤞🏻x
Aww thank you so much! I do actually have two videos filmed that I really need to edit! It’s just finding the time 😭 I really appreciate your comment 🥰🥰
Hi Jemma! Your top looks very comfy! 😊 i like the billow sleeve top.
Thanks so much Zelda 🥰 hope your channel is going well! X

Love yourLB in the quilted fabric, I’ve used that fabric in a red and a burgundy, I really like it, lovely and cosy.

We had fabric like the blue in the US a couple years ago and it would pill after wearing it. Wish I could find good fabric.

Missing your videos

Maybe you could add some embroidery on the Donnie shirt to hide the wrinkles
Thanks Marja, that’s a good suggestion ☺️👍🏻x
