started watching "*******" in 2014 and it started my love for skating after realizing what that channel really meant i was really crushed but I'm so exited to see that the real heart and soul behind it is back and better then it was before and not for something that I didn't know I was supporting but for skateboarding and the people behind it.
Started watching (REDACTED) in 2016-17 and stopped after realizing where my merch money went. Now seeing you guys back together without any of that crap really warms my heart. I'm happy for you guys, keep on shredding and bringing more new people in the world of skating! P.S. I, as now an adult, find your video style way more appealing to me than (REDACTED)'s old style. I love the minimal edits, down to earth vibe you guys bring! No overreacting and overediting to overstimulate the brain! It feels more like we are hanging out with y'all on a chill day!
Yo let's do some math. 5-6 employees who skate(and do other stuff) and 2-3 employees who just work. That's 3k per month, per person, average. We can round that to about 25k per month. Not counting the cost of the warehouse. That's another 3-5k. Then hes gotta pay himself, let's be generous say he lives it up at 5k a month. So you're looking at 30-40 thousand dollars, each month, just to get the bills paid. So yeah, your financial assumptions are wildly inaccurate and if you discriminate based on religion, you're just a piece of trash. Can anyone actually prove Aaron was giving tons and tons of money to the church of sciencetology? Do you know how stupid y'all look?

Would love to be a impartial board setup video for everyone, now that your free from Braille law. Tell us what you skate, why you like it, what size, why you support x or y companies. It's always cool to see the quirks of different board setups. Maybe even what you have used throughout the years and why you changed.
100%. One better, individual member videos that are board set ups with short bios and favorite tricks. Everyone can reintroduce themselves. Obviously there's a ton of us coming from the other channel's vids, but this channel grows with having new fans. Best way to do that is making these individuals more personable. It's about the boyz now.
I think the camaraderie part is the most compelling part of the channel. So even content where you guys grab food afterwards or banter going to the mall or whatever is I think what will keep people engaged. Because it’s the team that people came to see, not necessarily the skating.

The trick persistence vids on the channel that shall not be named were always interesting. I wouldn't want it to be forced, but if any of you guys are battling with a specific trick or line, that is always fun and satisfying to watch. Probably be even better on this channel because you wouldn't have to censor yourselves as much with your frustrations and such.
This is exactly the kind of content I've wanted to see from you guys for years now and I'm stoked it's finally happening. Everyone just looked so happy and relaxed because now you have the freedom to be 100% yourselves. And in videos like this we really get to see each of you shine as skaters as well as getting to know your individual personalities. On the question what we'd love to see, id love it if you guys would make teaching vids, not for us, but of you guys teaching each other tricks the others dont know. Like Uzi teaching impossible or dolphin to other members, or JD teaching vert etc. That would be hella sick
As an former sub from the biggest skateboarding channel , I gotta say I'm stoked you guys decided to come together and make it yourself. Pretty sure there will be a lot of thing to be worked on, but as a long time fan and new skater, I'm genuinely happy for you guys, and it seems already that you guys already are a lot more excited in comparison to the videos in the previous channel. Suggestion for the content: - I love to see yall trying to hit some street skate spots and give your perspective on how you would approach it, maybe give some background context of that spot if there is any. - Crossover with other skateboarding channels or prospect skaters you guys would love to shine some light on them. - Play games of skate with other skaters or have trick/spot challenges for prizes - Vlogs adventures/funny moments (the usual) And have fun!!

As for channel ideas, how would you guys feel about bringing back some old braille segments like Skate Everything Wars? Maybe stuff similar to that but put your own spin on it so it doesn't just feel like a copy of braille stuff. I always liked the goofy stuff like that, or you make it we skate it, or floor is lava, etc. Visiting different parks would be cool. Maybe try to get the best clips at the worst parks you can find. Maybe try to have guest skaters on. It's hard to suggest brand new ideas because braille covered a lot of ground. You guys are very well known in the YT skate community and I feel like you could reach out to a ton of well known skaters from YT and make stuff happen. The possibilities are endless. Just make sure you're having fun, that's what's important. Alright, enough ranting. Just really glad to see the crew back together. Some suggestions I'd love to see. Nigel continuing his quest to backflip everything. Maybe Ricky leading the group to go surfing. Uzis skating is way better than that other channel led me to believe so more of that. Hunting some street spots with the boys. @@birdsteak9267 yes scientologists have big scary lawyers, but the beauty of being sued for defamation is that 1) defamation is notoriously difficult to prove in court, the vast majority of defamation suits are lost and then the plaintiff has to pay the lawyer's fees for both parties (at least in california) and 2) being sued means discovery, discovery means the defense will get to see all the other shady shit going on behind the scenes that is almost definitely there, AND would likely allow them to build a case for a counter-suit for, what looks like to me as admittedly a layman, violations of worker's rights. tl;dr as long as they make clear what is opinion and what is fact, and whenever they state fact, they can back it up with evidence, they're perfectly fine and WELL within their rights to trash their former employer at will and without mercy.

Would love to be a impartial board setup video for everyone, now that your free from Braille law. Tell us what you skate, why you like it, what size, why you support x or y companies. It's always cool to see the quirks of different board setups. Maybe even what you have used throughout the years and why you changed.

100%. One better, individual member videos that are board set ups with short bios and favorite tricks. Everyone can reintroduce themselves. Obviously there's a ton of us coming from the other channel's vids, but this channel grows with having new fans. Best way to do that is making these individuals more personable. It's about the boyz now.
I think the camaraderie part is the most compelling part of the channel. So even content where you guys grab food afterwards or banter going to the mall or whatever is I think what will keep people engaged. Because it’s the team that people came to see, not necessarily the skating.

I would lowkey love to see gabe pop in every now and then, I feel like he got done the dirtiest of the crew coz he basically ran the other channel and had been there for soo freaking long we watched him grow up on it

the issue is that gabe has already sided with aaron. and it’s hard to blame him for that when aaron basically made him what he is today and mentored him.

The trick persistence vids on the channel that shall not be named were always interesting. I wouldn't want it to be forced, but if any of you guys are battling with a specific trick or line, that is always fun and satisfying to watch. Probably be even better on this channel because you wouldn't have to censor yourselves as much with your frustrations and such.
I think a cool idea for the channel would be: maybe each member of da boyz have a few videos where each one of you has creative control of a video

Everyone just looked so happy and relaxed because now you have the freedom to be 100% yourselves.
And in videos like this we really get to see each of you shine as skaters as well as getting to know your individual personalities.
No gimmicks needed or over acting to the camera, nothing needs to be perfect. Just keep being yourselves and the channel will be a success.

On the question what we'd love to see, id love it if you guys would make teaching vids, not for us, but of you guys teaching each other tricks the others dont know. Like Uzi teaching impossible or dolphin to other members, or JD teaching vert etc. That would be hella sick
As an former sub from the biggest skateboarding channel , I gotta say I'm stoked you guys decided to come together and make it yourself. Pretty sure there will be a lot of thing to be worked on, but as a long time fan and new skater, I'm genuinely happy for you guys, and it seems already that you guys already are a lot more excited in comparison to the videos in the previous channel.
Suggestion for the content:
- I love to see yall trying to hit some street skate spots and give your perspective on how you would approach it, maybe give some background context of that spot if there is any.
- Crossover with other skateboarding channels or prospect skaters you guys would love to shine some light on them.
- Play games of skate with other skaters or have trick/spot challenges for prizes
- Vlogs adventures/funny moments (the usual)

As for channel ideas, how would you guys feel about bringing back some old braille segments like Skate Everything Wars? Maybe stuff similar to that but put your own spin on it so it doesn't just feel like a copy of braille stuff. I always liked the goofy stuff like that, or you make it we skate it, or floor is lava, etc.
Visiting different parks would be cool. Maybe try to get the best clips at the worst parks you can find. Maybe try to have guest skaters on. It's hard to suggest brand new ideas because braille covered a lot of ground.
You guys are very well known in the YT skate community and I feel like you could reach out to a ton of well known skaters from YT and make stuff happen. The possibilities are endless. Just make sure you're having fun, that's what's important.

Some suggestions I'd love to see. Nigel continuing his quest to backflip everything. Maybe Ricky leading the group to go surfing. Uzis skating is way better than that other channel led me to believe so more of that. Hunting some street spots with the boys. Even just going out and having fun cuz you all have amazing camera chemistry and it's awesome seeing legit smiles on all of you!

I get what you are saying, but it's important to stay collected, in US people sue people for riddiculous reasons, there are something known as defamation. Ricky is mad, he is protecting himself.

@@birdsteak9267 yes scientologists have big scary lawyers, but the beauty of being sued for defamation is that 1) defamation is notoriously difficult to prove in court, the vast majority of defamation suits are lost and then the plaintiff has to pay the lawyer's fees for both parties (at least in california) and 2) being sued means discovery, discovery means the defense will get to see all the other shady shit going on behind the scenes that is almost definitely there, AND would likely allow them to build a case for a counter-suit for, what looks like to me as admittedly a layman, violations of worker's rights.
tl;dr as long as they make clear what is opinion and what is fact, and whenever they state fact, they can back it up with evidence, they're perfectly fine and WELL within their rights to trash their former employer at will and without mercy.
