the game really showed me this quest without saying anything about it being dlc content....i had just finished the settlement in england, making the blacksmith and hidden ones buildings..was at power 22...then the game only showed this fight and the arrival in england as the available saves...had to do all the 3 hours of gameplay again..3 hours of my life in the toilet cause they can't fucking warn you and they won't keep a decently recent save available... either this fight, or the content you did 3 hours ago...fuck that..
bro if you press escape on pc or start on xbox or ps during that mission you dont get the usual quit to menu or quit to desktop but also the WAKE UP option as well and if you click it eivor wakes up in england and you continue ..😂😂😂

Tbh, I wouldnt mind if you could actually lose to him. I mean he dumpsters Odin in the cinematic right after so why not allow the player to actually "die" to him and trigger that cutscene.
This boss fight really pissed me off. So you're supposed to be able to play the dlc at power level 340 and above. But when you play on drengr it just makes Surtrs power level insanly high so you have to basically do everything in the game before fighting him on that difficulty. This is really stupid and I hope it's changed.

I HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WAS ABOUT TO DO! i cant fight that guy and i cannot go back out of this mission because i just can go back to the last checkpoint, which is infront of that guy's door.. thanks a lot ubi, for not telling me i wasnt ready for that kind of quest and for NOT telling me anything about that quest at all.

I am at level 17 and I thought I am just laying under the tree to rest :D :D Died like 100 times, because I just finished elden ring and I was soo confused at to why I can't beat this boss, but sadly AC valhalla didn't learn from Dark souls. It's not the point to make a powerful boss that you can beat once you reach higher levels, but to be able to make a powerful boss that can be beaten at level 1 only if you are skillful enough for it. That's the genius behind dark souls games.

Bro, I was lvl 71 and I still couldn’t beat him. After the 15th attempt, I quit knowing that I could “wake up” I only managed to get his HP down to 70% The stamina bar pisses me off so much, a single dodge makes me lose a lot of stamina, on top of that, I was also using a great sword which took a lot of stamina as well for each swing. I also couldn’t access the inventory menu in that mission to change weapons, it was a losing battle for me.

I have done the entire game on nightmare difficulty and this is the first time the games a genuine challenge which makes it awesome. I too tried to do this when I first got to raventhorpe by mistake so I just woke up and thought I’ll save that to VERY last. I have done all of the game, the France and Ireland DLC on nightmare and it was all too easy. This DLC is truly awesome. It makes me a better gamer. You gotta learn people

This requires a level way higher than 20. If you accessed and want to go back, simply Pause Menu > Wake Up (you cannot be in combat mode)
