This was one of my favorites to write so far! I loved at the beginning the various views of the village at dusk. Your voice carries us around this place and time, thank you for this peaceful respite.
I loved the call back to the first customer! When the master mentioned to elsie that her dreams were not just dreams, but a sanctuary where her love with her late husband still lived on, I remembered how she fidgeted with her ring! Whicb I now realized was the wedding ring he gave to her :) she likely touched it often in rememberance but she did so here especially as she knew what the potion would do for her, allow her to see him again. Amazing writing, thank you for sharing you art

Tysm for this! I don't have insomnia or trouble sleeping, but listening to a bedtime story while closing my eyes with the lights turned off in my room before going to bed really helps me calm down and sleep much better! I haven't listened to the full story yet, but I'll be sure to tonight :)

@DozingDragonASMR Thank you for your creativity. As a herbalist myself with an intrigue for such periods in time it captured me straight away. I admire language choice and the art of story telling - in this case of sleep stories, the ability to evoke imagination of idealic scenes with a sense of calm/tranquility/serenity, and safety, dotted with mystical romantasism...it's just wonderful to be transported to such a place. May I add though, I was fast asleep before the end so it was on Replay I discovered following the story was a further 3hours of rain/fire crackle, that was mostly inaudible compared to the story (I keep ph on bedside table) and it had used up most my battery power. Perhaps it's my phone but I do feel my ideal would be upto 30 mins of ambient sounds following the story, with a fade out...And of course No ads at the end is the Best! Thank you for your wonderful creations. 🙏😴 ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Sorry but this was far tooooo slow for me. If this is purely to put someone to sleep, then it will work. The readers' voice was a dull monotone.
I do make these as sleep stories yes 😅 they tend to help folk relax and drift off, but I know its not for everyone!
