You know what I love most about you, Justin? You are one of the greatest competitive pro fighting game fighters in gaming history; but when you lose, you take a loss with dignity and respect. You might be mad at yourself for not achieving victory, but you accept your loss with grace in the end. You are worthy of everyone’s utmost respect. ❤❤❤❤
that Urien was playing Dirt Strike! i think close matches like this remind me that no matter how good you get theres always someone out there that just wants a chance to showcase what they got! edit: and yes justin something is going around!
I saw your post about winning the third strike tournament... 1 congratulations, you rock j Wong... 2... This guy could win with the way he is kicking your butt at the 8min mark
8:38 wait, how did he parry into shoulder tackle? Did he tap forward for the parry and then immediately hit K for the tackle or was it charge partition?
9:10 "The neutral is so annoying" You should feel it from Urien's side 🤣 I always felt like Chun was the least fun match-up for Urien because he gets outpoked so badly against her. 10/10 would rather face Yun, Ken, Makoto, or Akuma, even if I'm getting washed by them, because at least those match-ups feel like I get a chance to play the game.
That dam saget player was of the chain when u got the that first round I didn’t think u would get the second but u Handel bro I’m this game u were bonking him and I never seen a iargrab so fluently done in the air like that yo
its his super art 3, aegis reflector. its essentially a lasting, multihit projectile that the opponent has to block in the direction that it started from. so for example, if i fired it from the p1 side, you would have to hold right to block it, regardless of which side of you i'm on. this allows for a handful of unblockable and pseudo unblockable setups.
@@PlayDuhFish btw every aegis unblockable is a pseudo unblockable, and blocking it is a bit more involved than just blocking in the direction it was created. IIRC the supercombo wiki section for urien explains how you blocking actually works here
If Gills theme is Fire and Ice then Urien is metal. Idk if he actually metal skin tho, but his skin is coloured bronze by default. U even see his skin change colour in his intro
If you want to compete with any character in this game and beat Yun and Yang, you need to find a method with somebody unorthodox to maintain range and prevent rush downs.
The reaction based fighting game is very different to the turn based game. Yes SF is turn based, but, the opportunity to reverse is always present. The result of which is to still be reaction based, even with hit and block recovery times. So to speed up the physical movement of the characters is to reduce the time frames needed to respond to the action of your opponent. Raising the barrier to entry based on reaction times alone. When you slow down movement speed, you have more strategic options to consider and the gameplay becomes more deep. Capcom do not understand this.
Because, Justin travels a lot and he banks a bunch of videos in advance because he can't do daily uploads when he's on the road. It's pretty easy for him to do, because he can just break up an hours long live stream into multiple 10-15 min videos. Unless your a daily vloger or a news/current events channel there's really no reason not to get as far ahead on filming as you can to provide yourself a content cushion.
"This neutral is so annoying" says the guy playing Chun Li
5:51 Justin playin' 3rd throw instead of 3rd strike 😂😂😂
If OP doesn't get a heart from Justin, we riot.
That Urien was throwing out flatscreens like it was a Best Buy going out of business sale
THANK YOU FOR CONTINUING TO UPLOAD THIRD STRIKE🙏
Yeah his 3s videos are the only ones I watch 🫡
Automatic like.
I play lightweightbabi pretty often. Strong Urien. Fun set guys!
Its great to still see you play third strike, you have such a genuine love for the game

Great set of matches man, both of ya'll. Good work at the end Justin.
You are the reason I am learning Third Strike! Love the game!
Justin switched on Tournament Mode for the last game! lmao
8:38 wait, how did he parry into shoulder tackle? Did he tap forward for the parry and then immediately hit K for the tackle or was it charge partition?
Justin: Bison is OD
-goes back to 3rd strike-
Urien in the thumbnail: Nice cake you got there
Title + Thumbnail = Winning 😂
That thumbnail got Urien in perv mode
I dont know but i get the feeling that he wouldnt be truly interested in that
the vlog tips for japan would be excellent!
Im uncomfortable how often Im distracted by Urien's wang.
ngl I'm primarily here for the old school fun and sweaty capcom matches, thank you justin!
I recognize the sound effects at the beginning! Are they from an old Goofy cartoon where he buys a home gymnasium set??
LET'S GO URIEN
Damn, whose got more cake? Chun or Urien?
9:10 "The neutral is so annoying" You should feel it from Urien's side 🤣 I always felt like Chun was the least fun match-up for Urien because he gets outpoked so badly against her. 10/10 would rather face Yun, Ken, Makoto, or Akuma, even if I'm getting washed by them, because at least those match-ups feel like I get a chance to play the game.
Damn that was clutch.
what a finish, J Wong!
*Earthworm Jim cows voice* WELL DONE
Very nice Urien specialist, rare but entertaining to watch someone who knows what they're doing 👍
That dam saget player was of the chain when u got the that first round I didn’t think u would get the second but u Handel bro I’m this game u were bonking him and I never seen a iargrab so fluently done in the air like that yo
damn Justin You just got touched in that neutral by that Urien player.
that was a good ass set.
as a urien sub this was very good info on the matchup
07:50 best Urien moment begins
What is that window type thing Urien kept throwing out is it a fireball?

It's his super art n°3, "Aegis reflector".
@@PlayDuhFish btw every aegis unblockable is a pseudo unblockable, and blocking it is a bit more involved than just blocking in the direction it was created. IIRC the supercombo wiki section for urien explains how you blocking actually works here
@@PlayDuhFish thanks
Not me watching the entire thing wanting more.... Great content as always bud. 😏👍
I'm interested as to why the sound effect is different when Uriel blocks attacks. Never really questioned it until now.
If Gills theme is Fire and Ice then Urien is metal. Idk if he actually metal skin tho, but his skin is coloured bronze by default. U even see his skin change colour in his intro
This Urien came prepared. He was ready!
No way he did tackle after that parry, a charge move
When he did that parry tackle I just knew

That comeback!
Urien The 🐐
That beginning 🪦
love all the classic games content
That final round daaaamn
The one I remember as Urien in third strike was RX
The only game where you parry but get punished anyway
The power of the Aegis Reflector
Urien looks like armored titan.
Epic Win!
LADIDADIDA
Before I even clicked the video I heard the music playing 😂😂
Get him a towel!
This Urien is a bully🤣 omg no mercy whatsoever
Man, this thumbnail is very riské 😅🤣
I love watching Justin play 3rd strike.
The clinch!
16:05 reactions baby
Title: PAUSE but he's giving it to Chun Li
Came for the thumbnail, came to the thumbnail
Light wright babaaaaay
Wooooooooo! Cant nobody do dis!
Yeah buddy!
Urien's stage is my favorite in 3rd Strike.
Damn Justin, you're looking younger and younger at the end of your vids
Dude! That banner shows Urien grabbing Chun's thighs while doing the powerbomb!
Aww hell yeah, i love watching good Uriens.
I have a hard time fighting Chun w Urien
honesly, the dude needs to learn when to use 6mp
13:55 frame 1 KO
I’ll bet he was frustrated when you threw him 7 times in one match. I know id be annoyed lol
Is this on fightcade? Can anyone send me a link to how to set it up? I’m not great with that sort of thing

Oh yeah! In the thumbnail Urien is "inspecting" Chun.
How DARE he use RX's palette and NOT have the execution! I'm just messing. I want to see an RX level Urien though. That man's execution is CRISP.
I see Urien in the thumbnail, I click immediately
Thank u for the 3rd strikeee❤
No aegis unblockables? 🤔 I see why you playing like at 50 %
Love Justin content
I love watching third strike
Let's go Justin!!!
Urien gimmick can't beat Justin!
Commentus Maximus
thats was oddddddddddd😆
Why's he talking about may?
Because, Justin travels a lot and he banks a bunch of videos in advance because he can't do daily uploads when he's on the road. I hate play against Urien and Oro. I tried to learn how to play as Urien, but I find him very "clunky"
I hate urien too,but i love you Justin!
Third strike is the best

Did you actually get to stay at home in May? You've seemed like an extremely busy bee...
Most unoptimal Urien I've seen and hurts my soul knowing he could've done better set ups and combos lmao
