Make sure you leave yourself plenty of time going anywhere. They are work horses that seem to run forever, but damn are they slow. My old man had a 93, the last year of the idi with a turbo and it was still a turd. The body rotted off it twice, he had it restored and painted and ran it till it rotted again. He sold the rotten truck back ten years ago, dude did a body swap and kept trucking. If you aren't a performance enthusiast they will work great. Look for a rotten frame and the usual rust spots.
