@@yuntingtan5855 They're technically the same plant. I live in a part of the American South where they grow very well, I've never had problems using the locally grown ones.
I love his English voice, it's so bouncy and easy to listen to. But I was definitely surprised when I first heard him speak Korean completely different! XD
It seems pretty common with a lot of people and their second languages... Maybe cuz of how they've modeled their speech from native speakers, and how the process differs from learning one's first language
Aaron's voice is so deep and scary in Korean, "Claire!" like a dad about to scold his little girl. But Aaron's voice is higher pitched and playfully boyish in English. As for Claire... English and Korean same. 😂😂😂
I think Koreans imitate english caucasian speakers like announcers and newscasters which is why the octave in their voice changes. You CAN speak English in your natural voice...Key from SHINee sounds really good and although Mark with NCT is Canadian and pretty much speaks American English, notice his voice...also I.M. with Monsta X grew up in Boston. So the poster below is completely wrong in assuming that Koreans cannot speak English in their natural voice due to pronciation. And for the record, when you have a natural deep voice like Aaron it sounds hot 🔥 when you guys speak Korean. Imagine hearing him speak English in that natural voice.
American living in Seoul! I love watching Aaron and Claire’s videos, they’ve really helped me to settle into this country and living here. ❤️ you guys!
Korean adoptee here. This is a great recipe for bulgogi. I used it as a marinate and it came out spectacular. Thank you for helping me connect with my culture!
The Restaurant I've been getting my delicious Bulgogi for 20 YEARS closed recently! I am devastated. 😢 So I must try to make my own. You make it look easier than I thought. I'll try. Thanks.
I love these videos! Especially since I'm starting to experiment in the kitchen more often, but Claire's reactions are such highlights for me. You guys are certainly a great pair!
I love your videos because you make them so approachable, while also looking and tasting incredible! You even give us shortcuts like using the apple! Love your channel!
I didn’t watch the entire video yet but I can already tell it’s amazing ❤️ Edit: Just watched it and as always I am AMAZED at how easy it is. I’m going to try it for sure especially the pasta one I love pasta
Paused to answer you for 00:01. Thank you Aaron so much, my husband & I are MAD about the beef bulgogi at our fave authentic Korean restaurant! We will make these again & again, you really inspire to start Korean cooking in a new couple's kitchen !
I only saw 2 of your videos, but I already know I’m gonna be watching your channel for a long time. I love how you simplified Korean dish that I love so much! Keep making this kind of videos. All the best! From 🇨🇦
Always appreciate some good Korean food especially if it’s bulgogi! The food looks so fresh and delicious here! Definitely will be having some Korean food this week 🙌💯🍲🇰🇷
What a fantastic cooking channel. Each video I click on is better than the last, even if I suspect I won't be that interested in the subject or key ingredients. You guys rock my world! 🥰😋

I made Bolgogi from this recipe. I live close to an Asian market and was able to get Korean pear. Thank you it was absolutely delicious. I served with rice and dumplings.
I just made this bulgogi and it turned out incredible!!! I even didn't use a kiwi (but remembered to add some black pepper). Oh, and I substituted a Fuji apple for Korean pear. I went to my local Korean supermarket and couldn't find it. I also used lower sodium soy sauce. Didn't matter, it still turned out like restaurant level delicious! You really know how to balance preparation speed vs taste. Now I have tons of leftover sauce to try the other variations. Thank you Aaron and Claire!
You are very welcome! So happy for you! 😁👍 P.S. If the sauce is too much, I suggest marinating everything and putting them in zip lock bags for 1-2 servings. As long as you keep them in a freezer, you don't have to worry too much. That will be fine for up to 2 months! 😊
You made everything so simple. The magical bologi sauce is made from scratch. I’ve watch too made Korean cooking lesson in YT and it’s so complicated. Especially like me who is not Korean but, I loved eating Korean foods. I run to Korean supermarket here in Jeddah. And I did the kimchi dumpling fried rice and sweet and sour fried dumplings yesterday. And I did it so perfectly. It’s so tasty and flavorful. Thank you for sharing your recipe
this has become my favorite cooking channel. Ive binged so many videos today and I am both starving and motivated to make these dishes! Thank you for making this really simple for us!
Man this sauce is magic. I still need to try the hotpot. But the sandwich was a big hit with me and my mom. Avocado is a winner. We use perilla leaves from a little plant I got instead of the lettuce. It's so tasty!
It's soo great how you guys try your best to make any recipe in atmost simplest form 😍 and give ppl like us the confidence to cook!💪 loads of love and support 💜

Hello Aaron, this looks delish. I wanted to ask if it's okay to marinade the meat in the sauce overnight or is the sauce too strong for that?
asma It's not "too" strong but, you should use less sauce to marinade! 😍
