@@agulpofgossip1461 Thank you for asking, 💗 he is amazing. There are different things that are coming along now and it’s just incredible to see him grow and learn and be independent and have pride in what he accomplishes. He’s not even three yet & I’m in awe of him. 🥰

Are you gonna repeat this everyday until she starts eating on her own?? My baby is 15 months old and whenever I give her anything to eat in her own she throw away everything or else she started playing with it. Any suggestions how I can work with her ??

When will u train her means in which time breakfast or snacks time, if she is not eating on her own will u feed her
My son won’t eat purées or yoghurt or anything that needs a spoon... he is twelve months old. I started him on solids at 6months because he has multiple food allergies and the nutritionist advised to start with him feeding himself so I can know whether he is crying from a painful stomach reaction or not wanting to be fed.
Oh and your videos are so real. Thank you for recording and sharing all the sides of a child’s development
I just subscribed because of this video. My son is about to be 12 months next week and we are also having similar issues. I see all these babies all over the Internet self feeding with like whole pieces of Food Dude and we are still definitely on purees for the most part... yet he has 8 teeth!!! With more coming in!

My daughters the same except she started off a great eater and now she’s incredibly fussy and will hardly eat anything but I suppose that just comes with the age , I’m yet to try her with a spoon so hopefully it won’t be as messy as I think it’ll be lol
Ughh this video made me feel better my son is 15 months he’s on the slower side with trying to solids I had a doctor tell me I should be concerned so I been stressing myself out
I appreciate this video and the comments soooo much. My son is 15 months and meeting most of his other milestones but when I took him to his doctor’s appointment this week the doctor told me my son should be eating with utensils by now and suggested that maybe I should consult an occupational therapist. I have been feeling bummed all week. The doctor didn’t mention that there are lots of children who haven’t mastered utensil eating at his age. 🤷♀️🤔

My daughter’s name is Rylee and she is currently 14 weeks! She is doing great with forks but she has been struggling with spoons for some reason so I came here for techniques!
Why use a spoon when she has 10 fingers in good working condition.

New subscriber! Your daughter is adorable! My son is 13 months and he is a picky eater and eating solid food has been challanging!! He is also still learning how to use a spoon and that is exactly what he does when I let him use utensils lol.
My baby would immediately throw the bowl of food the moment I put it down.. When I used the ones with suction, he just play with the food, never tasting it 😂

Your daughter is so adorable! My daughter hasn’t had a problem with foods. Including solid. My mom is a bit on the hard side cause she doesn’t want my daughter to make a mess but she hasn’t had an practice with a spoon
You may want to have your baby checked for s tongue tie if she is still eating purees and not interested in more solid foods at that age. It's something that is very common but not alot of people know about, definitely wouldn't hurt to look into it and have your babys dentist check out the lip, cheeks, and tongue.
I think this is fab! I see so many posts with babies, spoon in hand, munching through everything! So it’s lovely to see a little one learning and playing with food and utensils. Every baby is different and gets there in their own time. X
