No, this flywheel is designed only for the 1982-1985 Mustang 5.0 W/ 10.5" Clutch, 1986-1995 5.0 and 1982-1995 Mustang 5.8

Thanks for answering my question, but can you explain why it could be not used was an old 302 or 289 as long as you're using the 28 Oz weight
