That looks beautiful and natural! I love that ancient root! Your fish are certainly more comfortable in blackwater, because amongst other benefits it makes discus and altums more relaxed and has positive effect on their skin mucus. I was previously also using these tannin products, but soon realised that it is too expensive because you will need to add them after each water change. I am now using Rooibos tea, which has the same anti-bacterial effect, has lots of tannins and is much cheaper.
Hello my friend!!! It's true, it was almost instantaneous their reaction, the comfort and well being. I have to look for that tea... Rooibos tea. It's noted ✅ 😃😃😃
Your tank looks great and it’s obvious the inhabitants think it feels great. I’ve saved this video in my list to watch over and over. Congratulations on your beautiful and innovative tank.
Hello my friend!!! Sorry for the huge delay in responding. I've been a bit away from social media and the PSK aqua project, but I'm slowly making a comeback. Responding to your comment, the moonfishes for being in the dark? 😅
Love it looks very natural and of course you have the added benefit of all the other positive factors that the solution provides. I do also like a crystal clear tank too lol both looks suit the tank very well tho. Another great video 🤗😍👍
Thank you very much my friend!!! True, you can get the benefits of a blackwater, but a blackwater with crystal clear water. 😃 It just has a darker, tea-like color. And since this color is mostly being made by the product, if I don't want to have it like that anymore, water changes are enough to get it back to how it was before. 💪🏻👍🏻
I see there's lot of water moment discus can be in stress... Nice, but I believe you need to add more discus... Discus need to be in greater number, The angels will begin exerting their dominance over tank space as they near maturity, and they're small that's fine but looking at their size it may happen soon take over... FYI
wild discus love fast flow. That's how they live in the wild; you can check videos by Oliver Lucanus who studied wild discus. I have kept altums with discus for years, and unless you get a breeding pair of altums they will never bother discus or any other fish. These aren't domestic angels, Altums are a different species.
Hello my friend!!! Thanks a lot for the comment!!! 😀 I have six adult wild discus, about 18/19cm each. The tank, although long (180cm) is narrow (40cm) and only takes 360 liters. I have to maintain an optimal ratio of liters per fish (about 40liters per discu)to be able to have the discus in good condition. Wild Discus like some current, however, it looks more than it really is. The wavemaker is at minimum intensity and very close to the surface, so it looks like there is too much current. Altums are different from angelfish, but I am hoping that there will not be a couple in the future. I have no intention of breeding them, so I hope there won't be any. Otherwise, I don't think there will be any problems with them.
@@tropicalfishhub I didn't see your reply until after I commented to friend Avinash! But apparently we share the same opinion. Thanks my friend. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

@3:59 looks like your front discus is rapping to some music!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Na minha opinião o teu aquário ficou muito melhor em backwater 😉
Sim, também gostei bastante.
Apesar da cor “chá”, a água continua cristalina o que não dá aquele ar de sujo.
