I'm sorry, but I don't understand how it makes sense for the defending team to have a player down by being the hostage. It should be the attacking team having to recover their team mate.
Yous didn't use the team maker app. Also, maybe you can make it but I have a great variation on the team maker app: each person types in the team mates they would prefer to be on a team with and the algorithm figures out the teams that the most people would be happy with.
