Cool to see new content for DSM, easier way to make more parts is to select the part from the tree, "ctrl c" for copy and "ctrl v" for paste, use the move to move the copy away from the original. Cheers
I used to be able to import .STL files and now I learnt .STEP files. However, looks like that is blocked in the most recent version of DesignSparks Mechanical (V6.0.2) , because I can no longer import either format. 😞 The error states that I'm trying to import an incompatible file type. I know that worked before because I used to import STLs to modify.
Unfortunately, the free version of DSM no longer supports most import functions. However, these import options are available if you have one of the paid versions. Hope this helps.
Thanks very much this saves so much time making bolts
Thanks for showing us this feature.
You are welcome.

Thank! Gary, I will try that out.
I like the Ctrl-Move better. You have to make them "independent" afterwards though, if you want to make something else.
This, of course, no longer works in v6 of the DSM unless you pay a subscription fee. The video is using v5 which will no longer work after May 31.
Bummer, thanks for pointing this out.
