This has been one of my favorites since BGG 2021 Solitaire PNP Contest too. I've already acquired one copy from TGC as well. Thanks for covering this game! Excellent choice.
Enjoyed the play through, although you forgot the draw of three cards/keep one for free play before shuffling in the HSH and visitor cards... don't know if that really impacts the play, but I like the free play aspect! Sure is a good game as you communicated! An expansion would be cool, but I've been having a great time with the (at this time) base game!
“Sidhe” is pronounced “she”, I think that means your “Bean Sidhe” is a pun on “Banshee” I do like the look of this game, although like you I’d appreciate expansion content to keep the game fresh. I may add this to my wish list for my next Game Crafter order.
Sir Thecos, once you said that you like games with a standard card deck, in connection with it, I would like to ask you: You certainly know about the contest "2023 In-Hand Game Design Contest", there was presented card game "The Assassination of Caesar", so, could you play it, because it is good reviews on the forum and interesting game mechanics, but my knowledge of English is not enough to understand the rules. And the example of the video, it would be much easier. I think it would be interesting and not only for me...
Yes, I know the contest - I have covered some of it last year. There's never enough time to cover all these contests, although I really want to. But I'll check out the game - maybe I'll look at a few other games of the contest as well! 👀
