everyone is complaining about the Batman who laughs' "prep time"... He IS essentially the combination of both the Joker and Batman... the Joker's mind is complete chaos, whereas Batman's mind is bent on solving the probable outcomes of chaos (however one does that lol), SO to me, the rigged Mobius chair was quite expected
I love how the Batman Who Laughs rigged the chair anyways. It's like, you guys have worked so hard, grasping at one thing with all your hope, and it was never going to work anyways. That's the genius of Batman.
I just responded to another comment about this. DC editorial is only reluctantly referring to Doomsday Clock. They want to dismiss it altogether, but it has a fan base that can’t be overlooked. Therefore, they’re only referring to it as much as they have to. Suffice to say, i doubt we’ll see Clark anytime soon if ever again at all.
@Shawn Kuhn i can understand that and honestly i wasn't a fan of him either but now i am starting to hope he can seek redemption and not be a complete jerk but we shall see.
@Batflashanakin Ahsokapadmewonderwoman i doubt it knowing superboy prime he'll probably find a way to betray the heroes again and use the crisis energy for his own plans but we shall see.
I don't know. The entire thing between Prime and Wonder Woman felt like an author who's heard the fan criticism of how grimdark and angsty DC has gotten over the years and is desperately trying to rationalize those complaints away. "Well, in the MULTIVERSE..." is not a good enough excuse for why the mainline comics are now "Really Dark Edgy BatMan versus Really Dark Edgy BatMan Featuring the rest of the DC cast". I hope these metal events end soon and never get referenced again, if we're being perfectly honest.
As interesting as this is, I'm deeply in Bat-fatigue. I mean, how can you say that this dude is just a rich guy in a suit when the same character has conquered almost all of negative reality?
I never understand why Harley is there. I mean with Swamp-Thing , Jarro and Hex they have like some abilities , superhuman to the degree you know. But Harley ? Shes basically just human.
Exactly, she’s there because she’s the often overlooked character, simply because she doesn’t have superhuman abilities. I mean she’s even usually written off by Batman, and when you’re up against a guy like Batman, who always wins due to studying everyone and preparing to defeat them with knowledge, being overlooked is your *absolute best advantage* .
Ehhhh DC has made it a point to give her a role in EVERYTHING. She’s very popular and tons of people will read it just because she’s there. I know it sounds weird but I know some collectors who buy anything with Harley on it... that’s just how it is.
If that does happen I legitimately made a joke about the same thing on the first if she came out and I’m gonna laugh my ass off but I agree as corny as it would be it also be pretty fucking cool. Oh way better thing to compare to that would be spider verse when every Spiderman teams up together to fight the inheritors
I believe True Form Darkseid can make anyone Darkseid, when Darkseid had an origin as a farmer or a prince. He was meant to become Darkseid since he is the avatar of it. In every reality True Form Darkseid chooses Uxas as the avatar. But what if True Form Darkseid chooses Superman, Batman, or Wonderwoman as the avatar of Darkseid? That would be super cool.
Have you ever heard the Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise? I thought not. It's not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith so powerful and so wise, he could use the Force to influence the midi-chlorians to create...life. He had such a knowledge of the Dark Side, he could even keep the ones he cared about...from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful, the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power...which, eventually of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew. Then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from death...but not himself.
I'm really seeing why people are sick of the batman who laughs. Literally everything, even multiversal phenomena that have never been attempted before, are somehow a part of his grand master plan...

But the way you explain these comics even fascinates my ADHD. Ive sat watching alot of your videos from beginning to end. If money wasnt so tight, id donate and join your patreon. Specially of it meant receiving a RobCorp Ring. I will have 1 of those rings 1 day. Your channel, in my eyes, is as awesome as Game Theory.
So... in short: Again the batman who laughs predicted all and outsmart everyone? kinda repetitive no?
At this point it's just a deus ex plot point.
Pretty much
Honestly this time it makes sense
Extremely
What else does he do besides repeatedly come up with a deus ex machina at the last second?
everyone is complaining about the Batman who laughs' "prep time"... He IS essentially the combination of both the Joker and Batman... the Joker's mind is complete chaos, whereas Batman's mind is bent on solving the probable outcomes of chaos (however one does that lol), SO to me, the rigged Mobius chair was quite expected
Also, with the powers of Manhattan that far more powerful wiser than new gods themselves, i think it might possible lol
I love how the Batman Who Laughs rigged the chair anyways. It's like, you guys have worked so hard, grasping at one thing with all your hope, and it was never going to work anyways. That's the genius of Batman.
You mispelled ass writing. Try out my hero academia.
"If you want to make an omelet, sometimes you've got to break a few eggs" had me sitting on my chair for a few minutes.
Seems Like Clark Dreiberg should be showing up at some point to put a stop to all of this
I just responded to another comment about this.
Superboy prime teaming up with the heroes to stop the darkest knight is going to be interesting and really fun.
Superboy prime will get killed or sacrifice himself.
I was honestly thinking the same thing about the context of their conversation. And the writers and editors can eat it for that
I liked Metal but then everything after just tried too hard and we never got a break. Just soured all of it.
Every time it looks like they are going to pull a win. The Batman who laughs pools an even bigger win.
As interesting as this is, I'm deeply in Bat-fatigue. I mean, how can you say that this dude is just a rich guy in a suit when the same character has conquered almost all of negative reality?
13:27 - Please do! Please cover the 'Robin King's' one shot!
Man Who Laughs constantly winning has become annoying.
Metal was great but then they let nothing simmer or take a break. Just back to back laughs crap with Batman. The laughs that never loses.
The Superboy Prime that's shown in Death Metal is the Superboy Prime of the DARK Multiverse. The one shown in the Shazam comics is the ORIGINAL Prime.
No. They are the same.
No, they’re the same. Just ignoring Johns’s Shazam run lol
I rlly hope the batman who laughs goes off on some twisted whim and gives Harley some kind of power
Oh my God with that last line. It really does feel like a reboot
I never understand why Harley is there. I mean with Swamp-Thing , Jarro and Hex they have like some abilities , superhuman to the degree you know. But Harley ? Shes basically just human.
They’re trying to make her more important in general.
She’s overrated
@@iloathepeoplewhorestilltal2774
Yeah, her show isn't that good too. It's ok but it isn't amazing
Beyond Omega Level: Phantom Stranger(DC)
Beyond Omega Level: Sonic the Hedgehog(Archie Sonic)
Beyond Omega Level: Enerjak(Archie Sonic)
Imagine if we get a Avengers Endgame portal scene at the end of Death Metal but with EVERY SINGLE GOOD BATMAN. That would be amazing!!!!
How about if Batman(the main one) gets bonded with the Spectre and fights The Darkest Knight in an epic cosmic battle that shakes the cosmos
How though? There are like, no good universes left at this point
@@l.d.3097 comic book magic is how
Perpetua felt when the Batman who laughs became the darkest knight so now I wonder if she got a nice jolt when he got powered up again
Not gonna lie: Would LOVE to see some redemption for Superboy Prime!
Did- Did Superboy Prime just Punch Reality Again, Destroying Two Crisis'... With... ONE PUUUNNNCH!!! 🎶
Yes he did 💪
@Jon Kent what? I'm not talking about that one
Didn't he steal it from his brother
Not how Darkseid works
@@75_86 then how does he work? Isn’t true form Darkseid the concept of Evil?
@@jeffguan3786 Darkseid is pretty much always in his true form. The whole “always using avatars” is a misconception sprung up by many big YT channels.
@@75_86 yeah that’s understandable.
So the Batman Who Laughs is basically just another anime villain at this point? "But THIS was really my plan all along..."
even anime villains don't plan out every molecule of everything like he does...
Yup he is pretty much aizen/ywahch from bleach lol
Why do people like Superboy Prime so much? He's just a crazy Superman
At silver age he is good man like other superhero and of couse bevouse he op
he's OP af, and he comes from a universe like the real life one we're in right now, he was a kid that got powers and went insane
But he was good guy at first but got imsane becouse lost his universe at crisis on infinite earth
Power Scaling
OMG!!! Rob said Captain Carrot and didn't lose it...and I quote "I love Captain Carrot he's a superbunny" I love him too man😎
Oh boy, Super Prima Donna Prime...this is going to be good
My head canon is makein mes think superboy prime knows somethin about Perpetua seeing as they shared the same prison for bit.
The Tragedy of Perpetua the Pure Evil lol
Superboy Prime is on the good side once again. It took years but LET'S FUCKING GOOOO
Character Explained/Beyond Omega Level: RESURRECTION MAN
💥
This entire story is so good.
I'm really seeing why people are sick of the batman who laughs. Literally everything, even multiversal phenomena that have never been attempted before, are somehow a part of his grand master plan...
Dc too much give him plot armor that suck and bad written
I loved that they kept to his character and I can honestly go with him doing good on this run due to the situation and the reasoning wonder woman gave him was fantastic ( I'm talking about superboy prime)
He'll probably end up dieing in a future issue
Do they end up stabbing the batman who laughs with the dagger?
No, that dagger is in the possession of the Robin king who was appointed as the batman who laughs's successor when he became the darkest knight
I love how superboy prime came back for good
Wait a minute, so who the hell is the guy that we see in Jla Odyssey. This whole Darksied debacle is Ludacris bruh
That's the real Darkseid in OD this is the dark Multiverse version of TFD
@@cheeseburgerfreddy6350 I'm waiting for my shop to open, he just said TBMWL went to the one "from the positive matter Universe" why he said that, he also said Superman acknowledged that this was "The real Darksied" coming to that conclusion by his energy signature
@@kongsied4279 That's weird because thr Real Darkseid is also in JL OD so either that's the TFD of the Dark Multiverse or there is a continuity problem
@@cheeseburgerfreddy6350 Yeah DC has a lot of those, or either Rob is just assuming this Idk. Have to check it out 😆 I get the feeling a lot of writers aren't happy with what Morrison did with Darksied though. Even though Darksied did mention having avatars before final crisis.
@@kongsied4279 Yeah he did have avatars before FC but Grant Morrison tried to retcon all of Darkseids defeats from the heroes but after the New 52 we've been seeing more of TFD but he's been more powerful than before so at least writer's stopped making Darkseid a weak jobber.
Even for comics this isnt making sense but I like it.
Rob are you okay? You didn't state your love for captain carrot when you first mentioned him? What's up bud?
WHOA ! I wasn't expecting that ending , I'm trembling.
Imagine this being someone’s first comic book. Not their first story, but their first issue.
RIP that poor bastard & their infinite confusion
About time Rob I always read these comics come out the day they come out
so superboy prime is the one making sense, becouse he didnt like heroes sometimes doing bad for a good reason? so he did evil to get a better world? ok then....
He become insane becouse he loss his home world earth prime
@@yaqinmalul1364 I know he is insane, i just want to know why Rob doesnt see that.
He also being manipulated secretly by Perpetua too...
DC needs to amend SBP! This version would do so well.
Ok how the f is The One Who Laugh rigged the Mobius Chair ? I thought it rejected him or something like that ? Also can u even do that if you never sit/use it?
Because Its Batman Lols
The same way Batman shot Darkseid first
I said the same thing when I read the story I'm but it rejected him so did he rig it...usually get my answer from Scott via DMs but somebody been telling her leaking books so he don't Answer me anymore...
There are so many story ending plot holes in this that the story is a sponge.
This is TBWL we're talking about. Think about everything he's orchestrated so far. He's capable of just about anything at this point.
This is what I've been waiting for, Superboy prime just made 2020 special and better for me😍😍😍 this is why I love fucking DC comics
