It’s the integration of the Drums with the rest of the music it fits its dynamic with without being distracting or dominating nothing like the sweet spot of a tight groove .

Good choice and I couldn't agree more. Dire straights tunnel of love. One of my all time songs. Hearing dire straights as a kid loved them. Mark and his band even in the later years. His music contributed to movie soundtracks.👏👏👍

Great call. Groove matters a lot more than folk think. Listen impessive speed and complexity is absolutley great...but syncopation with the SONG is probably the most important element.

I would love to see what kind of amazing beats you would do on a Terry bozzio or niel peart sized drumset. I'm blown away with what you produce with minimal piece sets. Absolutely amazing.

MAD , I’m a hardcore metal head but I have every dire straits album that came out on venal . I’m not surprised that bit of drums is one of YOURE favourites, it’s a great song start to finish . Best part of YOURE clips is you bloody live to hit drums , it’s obvious. It’s also the best reason to . Mad drummer man
