As an ordinance worker at Mt Timp temple, when the first major changes were made to the endowment in 2022, I was thrilled. I did not grumble, but I did wonder. As I was in the temple one day, I thought, “It took me 20 years to figure out things in the endowment that are now presented immediately and clearly.” I thought about the processes and the line upon line learning that had been so beneficial for me over the last two decades. I wondered what it all meant. Then the thought came to me so clearly, “those coming to the temple now do not have decades to figure things out. We have to hurry!” And I was filled with joy and excitement!!!

@@ShannonPerla when I went to the temple before my mission I was uncomfortable with the secret aspects of the temple. After I went I was like ohh I understand this. It was easy for me to understand. I stopped going to the temple about 18 years ago. The last time I went it became a bitter painful thing for me. Because of what the spirit told me. I have never had the desire to go back. I was told by the spirit that my ex wife was not my ex fiance who was abused out of marrying me by her mother who hated me irrationally. I went with my ex wife about 3 years after my break up with my fiance who the spirit told me to marry. I married my ex wife because she said she wanted me. My ex-wife cheated on me while I was in Iraq having rejoined the military to provide her medical care. It hurt so much to hear that from the spirit. I weep for my ex fiance who probably had a similar experience when she allowed her mother to force her to marry someone else. I have since gotten married to a beautiful Catholic woman who the spirit told me to marry. It just hurts to know that my ex fiance is a slave inside the church from my perspective. Just being treated like livestock to bring children to the world. I looked her up and she looks miserable 😖 it hurts to know that she's not Loved the way I wanted to love her.
Two weeks ago I went to The Temple, I walked direct to change my street clothes. Suddenly I saw a friend that is an ordinance worker, and told me the changes in the endowment ceremony.
She was surprised about it. I reminded her why it is happening. President Nelson received the revelation to center more in Christ abd what is the meaning of croosing the veil. I told my friend to meditate and pounder, while she is serving in The Temple. Not a better place to receive knowledge and light.

My grandmother told me when I was a child that she had a stake conference when she was younger maybe in the 60s/70s. But they were told that some in the room would be there for the Saviors return. That has stuck with me since. Both my grandparents are with us, I’d be so grateful if His return while they were still living. I know that is her dream.

I heard what i thought was a trumpet this morning as I was taking my kiddo to seminary. I even pulled the car over and rolled down the window! I don't know what it actually was.

I love your enthusiasm! I now feel that enthusiasm inside of myself! Why? Because about a year and a half ago a temple was built 15 minutes from my house. My husband and I have been temple workers since it opened and we have not missed our weekly shift since the temple opened. He also works a second shift when I go as a patron and I bring a friend who couldn't go otherwise. The experience has been transformative! I have changed!! I didn't think I needed to repent, but I have found that I am repenting and working to more closely follow the Savior--and I have great joy in my heart for Him and the gospel! It helps me to remember how grateful I was when I found the Lord's church 35 years ago! The temple has helped me to recommit my life to the Gospel of Jesus Christ! I am so grateful that the Lord instructed our prophet, President Nelson to bring the temple to the people!! Yes, all these new temples are needed to prepare the Lord's people!

Whenever I hear about the evil that is getting stronger and stronger every day I just keep reminding myself this means He's getting closer. I feel a kindred spirit with you. I am 72, totally alone. I'm physically disabled and have lots of problems. I live in a Ward that totally ignores me. No one is willing to pick me up/take me home from meetings so I can't go. I don't have a car, stuck to a rollator walker and oxygen. Even the missionaries "forgot" a phone appointment with me. Since I'm a female, living alone with no furniture, I have to get my ministering from you and other sites on TH-cam. I only have a free government phone because I live in a subsidized housing and get very little Social Security. I love Jesus and need to hear from any place I can get it. Did you know that Jesus is pictured on a Time magazine cover? I don't know what it is about. Thank you so much for your channel.

Really enjoyed this video. Even if the second coming is in 50 years, you can’t deny that the prophet and apostles haven’t ramped up preparations for it. Just follow what they say and we’ll be fine regardless of when the Lord’s coming happens.
Same Kaitlyn! The “Second Coming” has always caught my attention since I was a child. I’ve needed this community of ours to “nerd out”! 😂 When we had the earthquake and Moroni dropped his trumpet and my neighbor told me the Church just chartered 3 jumbo jets to clear the missionaries out of the Philippines.. I was like “what the heck is happening!” I was amazed how quickly people wanted to downplay it all. That’s when I found Jared’s channel. You’re doing a great job too. Keep it up! 🙌

So funny to hear you mention the train horns. I live about a mile from a railroad track.. I’ve been woken up several times in the middle of the night by the train horns and thought oh my goodness Jesus is Coming!! 😂❤
I've had the same impressions about the increase in train horns in my area. We have several crossings close to us and at first I was really bothered by the change because now I have to keep my window closed to stay asleep. But it is a horn! A trumpet is a horn. There are so many reminders that we need to wake up and realize His coming is so very close!

33:15 one of our kids was told in their PB they would understand the endowment completely the first time they went to the temple and we were 🤯 that it could even be possible. Fast forward 10 years and here we are. I felt like I would’ve understood it completely if I had gone for the first time, too!

Oh my goodness, I need to tell you a little story. So of course recently we have had opportunities to be able to visualize the northern lights here in Utah as well as that comet that is supposed to be visible until the end of this month. I have tried numerous times to be able to see not only the northern lights because it is a dream of mine to see those but the comet. And for the life of me, I could not see them at all however everybody around me was seeing them and posting pictures on social media and I was so frustrated. So last week when I made my final attempt to be able to see the comet and of course could not, I was so upset and I even got tears in my eyes because I didn’t understand why everybody else could see this, but I could not. And all of a sudden I heard this voice in my head saying that I did not need to worry that soon enough, I would be able to see sites that were much grander than any of these. I felt like this was the heavenly message that I needed to remind me that our saviors second coming as soon and what we will witness when living the millennium will be so much more beautiful than anything I was attempting to see in that moment! Thank you so much for all you do with this channel. I love it so much and I do feel like we’re kindred spirits, and I’m grateful I have channels like yours to be able to come to and feel connected to someone who believes the way I do.

The thought that came to me when I was lamenting the fact that I hadn't seen any of these amazing signs and wonders for myself, was that if I continue faithful and continue to prepare, I will not miss the most important wonder - the second coming of Jesus Christ. 💗

My wife and I lived next to train tracks for a decade early in our marriage (South Provo). I remember the first few nights when we'd hear the trumpet-like sound and feel the rumble shaking our bed in the wee hours of the morning. But then we became inured to it and never really noticed it. I wonder if perhaps many of us get inured to to constant flow of revelation and signs before us. I need to be more watchful. Thanks for your reminder.
I also liked how you said, "I know that I fall short in so many ways....But I have a relationship with my Savior. He knows my heart. He knows that I'm striving....He knows that I'm doing my best, even though my best can always be a little bit better." I've always hated when people say, "Just do your best." Because I always think, "Yeah but I never do my best. There's always X, Y, or Z that I don't do." And then I get discouraged. But I think you hit it on the head when you said you had a relationship with the Savior and you felt peace.
We know very well Elder Andersen here in my stake (Bordeaux, France) He served in my city (Périgueux) when he was a young missionary, and was our Mission president in the early 90's, came back as a member of the 70's to dedicate our Chapel. And we had special conference with him as an Apostle in 2019 ;)

I lost my son Dec 27th 2021. He was 25. I miss him so much. I eat and drink stores or videos of Gen conference talks about the 2nd coming. I want him to come so bad. My stake president said. Yes we are in the last days. I feel. Chrisr will come next 10-12 years

I think you're right about not needing the world to be more wicked. I was in high school in So Cal in the early 80s and remember feeling like I was living in Babylon, but I couldn't make myself believe that it had fulfilled the sign for wickedness yet. People were doing bad things, but they didn't call bad things good.
Now, it's obvious, and I have no doubt. I pray for the day He comes.

Great perspective. Enjoyed hearing your description of what is important. He admonished us to use the talks as a litmus test. I think of the parable of the vineyard. To some he gave little, and to others he gave much. God deals differently with people through time. So people before who had to go many times had the time to learn and ponder. You’re absolutely right…we all have little time because the Lord needs all hands on deck to get the work done. We have temples being built at record speed. He needs every hand to help.
It reminds me of the parable of the master of the vineyard. Some of us arrived early at the vineyard, some have been working all day, and some of us arrived late. We all received the same reward. Those that arrive late need the concentrated doctrine quickly.

I love that President Nelson promised that those who sincerely seek Jesus Christ will find him in the temple! Imagine it! The literal fulfillment of that promise is for you, and for me, not just for apostles and other general authorities. In other words, without spelling it out for us, President Nelson just promised us that we do not have to wait until the grand return of Jesus Christ to the whole world, or even to the Jews, or even to the conference at Adam-ondi-Ahman. We can see Jesus Christ tomorrow in the temple! Think about what is said in the endowment just before going to the veil. That is literal, not figurative. This is so exciting!

I’m 61 and I’m so happy for the simplification of it. I believe if you’re in the Temple you should be able to understand it right away. When we go the first time we need to KNOW IT! The next times aren’t for us they are for the dead, something I think we forget! I think everywhere there’s a Temple will be a a part of the New Jerusalem maybe? ♥️

It breaks my heart about that 72 year old daughter of God who feels so alone. Everyone, please befriend her and make her feel not alone. Also Caitlyn, I have been studying the Book of Mormon. The Prophet has said that we need to study the Atonement of Jesus Christ. So I have been reading scriptures out of the index on the Atonement of Jesus Christ. It has drawn me closer to him. Especially when I realize how much the Savior loves me to do what he did through his Atonement. I'm glad the Prophet said to to that. Now I am feeling so close to not only him but to people like this 72 year old sister who feels so alone and can't get to church.

President David O. Mckay said it took him 70 to 80 temple sessions before he began to understand its meaning. He once also told a group of missionaries including Hugh Nibley, that he had always been skeptical of the gospel all his life. He said that as an apostle of over 20 years! He apparently was such a skeptic that all his family and friends were very surprised when he was called as a leader. Nibley said when he told them that, they assumed he believed as an apostle! Fascinating!

Yes, this to me is significant. The Lord appears to not just be whispering to members of our church. His mercy is extended to all of His children. The fervor among Christians of all faiths adds to my testimony that His return is impending.

Joel 3:15-20 which says that Zion is the Lord's Kingdom. That the Lord does speak his voice from living prophets from out of Zion and later on in the future will also speak his voice also from out of Jerusalem. Its bible prophecy that is being fulfilled in ZIon.

I think people say that the world has to get so much worse before Christ comes because in their mind that gives them more time to continue being lazy about being ready for His coming! Just get ready now!
The world is so bad, so so bad. Not everyone experiences the worst of it but that does not mean that the world isn't evil enough. No less prophetic were the 10 plagues because the 10 plagues weren't a worldwide event.

Thus said the Father unto Malachi-Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me, and the Lord whom ye seek shall SUDDENLY come to his temple, ( He's coming SUDDENLY--I hope so!)
That scripture came to my mind a couple times in the past year as well. As an ordinance worker I half expect to see Him around every corner.

I love the enthusiasm for second comming. I would still prepare for tribulation. Why do members today feel it is going to be an easy ride to the second coming? Tribulation will remove members from Babylon, then comes the blessings.
The mellinium messiah doesn’t start with the great and dreadful day of the Lord. This coronation happens at Adam-ondi-Ahman.
The new Jerusalem and Jerusalem will be two capitals of the world. It is not that the temples today are not important but the Jerusalem cities will run the government of God. Anyone can be a Zion people but only one location is the city of Zion and it can't be removed because the Lord put it in Independence. The Independence temple can be built anytime when the Lord commands. Elder Kimball said more Lamanites were need to join the church and blossom before it could happen.

The world is bad just because we aren’t experiencing that in little Utah. I mean look around and what’s happening with the flooding, the wars in Israel and Ukraine. For some people they are thinking this is really bad. We are a blessed people that we aren’t experiencing that yet. But others are. Evil happening that we will never know about in this life

On the church news website post Elder Anderson quotes President Nelson and says "The temples, he explained, are central to the preparation needed before the second coming." So are the temples to be completed prior to the second coming???

In that chapter of Isaiah, the prophet speaks of the time leading to the Second Coming of the Savior.
Elder Andersen said that people who listened to the prophets prior to the Savior’s birth looked for the signs they were taught about and promised.
“They looked, and saw, and could say, ‘He came,’” Elder Andersen said.

Sorry I am commenting so much. When I think of the veil being lifted, I think of clarity and information being revealed little by little. President Nelson said that the veil is starting to lift and as we go to the temple we would learn to part the veil. I feel these changes are the veil being lifted. ???? Even seeing the images of the Savior in the presentation is one step closer to seeing Him in person. We are seeing more into eternity than ever before--eyes to see and ears to hear...

The Prophet says the gathering of Israel on both sides of the veil is most important work and that Israel means "willing to let God Prevail. All of us come to your channel. We gather here. Yes but they have had quiet zones that are now expired because towns didn't do their part to update the safety parts of the crossings. Now they have to blow horns even when it is the middle of the night. No more quiet zones. That part is new and very hard for many who live by the crossings. 😊

Please don't take offense if someone comments with a bit of a different take on when Christ is coming. We really don't know. Impending and soon could still be 30 years. I hope it is tomorrow, I really do. But meanwhile, peace in your heart. I doubt that commenter was trying to be offensive ( I don't know). Yes, "Being ready" is what the prophet is trying to get us to do. I'm guessing this will take some time. He is asking us to change in our hearts, our habits, and also to change the world. It seems he is warning us, not just that Jesus' return is impending, but also that there will be so much coming up that we won't be ready for if not spiritually strong enough. Doing God's will is where our heart needs to be committed. Your testimony is strong and needed. Many people will come together in platforms such as this and share their thoughts also. Let's make it a safe place for these voices.

Impendent...I don't know, but for me President Nelson had a private meeting with his apostles to declare more or less The Secong Coming to them, and asked them to prepare talks to the world related to our Lord 2nd. coming. President Nelson knows He is very close, because he is receiving instructions to guide us little by little.

I think we may miss Christ coming to the Jews if we are not paying attention. It will be something we marvel about in the past tense, and wonder if we had missed an opportunity.
In the end, does it matter when the second coming occurs? Most people that will have ever lived on the earth need to worry about how they lived and whether they repented and came unto Christ during their lives. We are more likely to live and die without being alive when the second coming occurs. Should we not be living in a prepared state either way? Just a thought.
Once you understand the difference between a men and a prophet you wont be moved from your faith. As Jesus would say "“Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”

I truly love your enthusiasm and I hope you are right that Christ is coming very soon. The only thing I would caution against is getting too set on a certain time frame. “Soon” could very well be 50 or 60 years from now. The problem I see with getting too set on a certain time frame is what happens when 5, 6, 10, or 15 years go by and He hasn’t come yet? Are you prepared for that? Will your faith be strong enough to continue on the covenant path if He does not come for another 100 years from now? Personally, I feel like it maybe will be in my lifetime, I am 47 years old, but that’s a big maybe. I am fairly confident it will be in my kids life times, but even that I do not really know, it could be in my grandkids life times, either way, it will not shake my faith one bit if it is 200 years from now.
I get that concern… I’ve heard that concern from others who are very careful to get excited because their family members left because they think the Lord delayed His coming….
The Lord will come when He comes… I don’t know when soon is…. I have never said a time frame… I have no idea!!! But I’m watching and the signs are intesifying and the prophets are prophesying!!
But I highly doubt the brethren would “cry wolf” so to speak, this loudly.. if it were still 100 years from now…
I would rather be told “So great faith have I never seen” 3 Nephi 19 than… “oh ye of little faith”
But for me the answer is absolutely I am prepared for that!! It’s only with Christ that I have peace! What are my other options?!?

Kaitlyn's reply was awesome. I'm not sure why being excited about these signs and increasingly becoming more righteous and following the prophet would somehow tire us out before he comes? Do you mean if he doesn't come in the next 20 years that I'll just say "oh no I can't take it anymore?" I think the point is the more we step away from Babylon the stronger we get and the more accustomed we get to living in a way that will prepare us no matter what comes. Here are a few questions that I have been asking myself: why is it so hard to prepare everyday for him to come tomorrow? Isn't this the Church of Joy? Won't our bodies be renewed and we will be able to run and not be weary and walk and not faint? Yes we are looking for relief but we have been promised relief now if we will seek his healing. My thought is that as we continue to prepare our hearts and minds it will just be a great day of joy it will be natural when he comes again.

@@AnticipatingChristsreturn I am not trying to be a downer in anyway. I totally get your enthusiasm, I feel it too! I just feel it is important to be patient as we wait on the Lord. I feel strongly that He could come now if He wanted to but the only reason He isn’t is simply because there is an effectual struggle yet to be made to rescue and save many souls that are wandering in the darkness of sin that if He were to come today those wandering and lost souls would not be ready. He wants to allow time for them to be gathered in. The only thing He is waiting on at this point, in my opinion, is the gathering of those lost souls, which are scattered Israel. Even if that does take another 100 years I do not believe the brethren are crying wolf at all. 100 years in the grand scheme of things is just a very small blip, a very very short time! And there is still a huge amount of work to do and many miracles that will occur in gathering scattered Israel out of the darkness of sin before He will say all that will be gathered have been gathered, now it is time to come and save the righteous and destroy the wicked and usher in the long awaited Millennium Reign! Oh what a glorious day it will be!

Yes, the gathering is THE most important thing taking place on earth today, and yes, we need to have a significant amount of it completed before He comes (there is great safety in our covenants that we will need until He comes again). He is preparing a people who are ready to receive Him. But there will be many good people of different religions and beliefs on the earth at the commencement of the millennium. Eventually all those living during the millennium will join His church, but as far as I understand, the Great Jehovah will not say "the work is done" before He comes again. Prophets have said the day of His return is fixed and determined. I do hate the ambiguity of words like "soon" 😂 but with the way the prophets and apostles are talking, no one can deny that things are ramping up. We are in a different phase, no doubt. But yes, we continue to watch and wait (actively!), no matter how long it takes. 💗

When Jesus comes to save the Jews (Zechariah 12, 14), it's not him coming to transform the Earth to a terrestrial glory. That will happen some time later when he destroys the wicked of the Earth, brings the continents of the world together, restores the city of Enoch to the Gulf of Mexico and establishes dual capitals on the Earth. And though things in the Middle East are heating up, the Gog/Magog war seems to remain afar off still.
It was really sad when Jesus was done talking in 3rd nephi about the victory in the end, the new Jerusalem, the fact that Jesus will come again and that his glory will be shown to the world that the next day the apostles had to ask Jesus what to call the church because people were contending one with another. They were worried so much about the small simple name of the church that they overlooked the entire plan of salvation that Jesus just laid out in front of them.
But can’t we see the same thing happening today.. the Lord has asked a to correct how we refer to the church and yet people still don’t use the name He asks to be called. It seems that even a small thing like a name is important to Christ.
Totally! I didn’t initially make that connection but was thinking more in general about the many complaints coming from people. For example people complain about garments but miss the fact that it represents our savior and his atonement. It’s a privilege to be able to wear garments that represent Christ, just think, when we die and we’ve been living our life worthy of those garments and we are presented to the father he will see us wrapped in the atonement not for our sins committed. Even if he doesn’t see our literal body covered in garments it’s in the heart, it’s our view of those garments. It’s what we were willing to do to wear those garments. Anyway I’m stepping off my soap box now 😅
It’s insane how close the scriptures are to our day! (Disclaimer, I’m fully aware of the health issues involved with garments and heat I don’t mean for this to be a debate)
