First of all, so many thanks for reviewing the game! I am one of the devs of the game and I am so pleased to see that you have enjoyed it so far now! We still have more updates coming, I think from the footage this was before the last one where we added more 3 tracks (total now is 12) and the 90hz mode. Our plan is to have more 3 tracks by the end of this month, and more fixes, following more 3 tracks by next month ;) Feel free to reach me for any questions ;)
Hi, thank you for all your hard work on making and updating the game. I will return this weekend to try the 90hz mode and the extra tracks. I did film this video before the last update. Wow, so 15 tracks in total soon. That's amazing.
Add a handbrake for drifting too that would be awesome especially if it's actually an in game handbrake you pull that you can set for left or right hand Either that or a hop button that allows you to get into a drift
@@jwjr1988 one of the face buttons already turns drift on, there is no jump cuz it was making people to get dizzy too fast, but the wheels start to spark
Just a quick thing about this game: you can actually play this with 8 online, they updated the game to 90 Hz native a few weeks ago and new tracks are also coming soon. The Devs told us at psvr without parole discord ;)
Thanks 😁 I did hear about the 90Hz native, and mentioned that and multiplayer in my description (I know, I know nobody reads that 😂) I filmed this one in November, so I should have filmed it again. Why didn't I just put up a splash screen on the video explaining the updates? 🤷🏻♂️ because I'm idiot😂. (Note to Kieren always check if there's been any new updates and do a splash screen on the videos) Have you tried the 90hz update? How does it look / run?
@allthismalarkey haha, it happens. Yes I have tried the 90 Hz, the game runs Super smooth and looks very clear now. A great update. These devs are so open to us helping them improving their game, it's a rarity in gaming. They deserve praise for that. They said they are working on 6 more tracks, tournaments, left handed mode and more. This game will only get better 😄
@@ElephantTrap That's pretty impressive; it's almost like a No Man's Sky story….(only the devs on Galaxy Kart are a lot quicker at fixing and improving their game 😂). I do love a Phoenix from the Ashes story. I hope the community supports them and buys/continues to play. I have a spare weekend next weekend so might just set up the wheel again and check it out 🥳
Thanks for always supporting us so much @ElephantTrap! I just love the community that is being built around this game! Thank you! @allthismarlarkey and we are MUCH smaller than No Man's Sky team :P
I have not seen that option in the menu, it doesn't bother me that much when I play, but on watching the playback game play it looks it should, but it doesn't 😂 does that even make sense ?
Its a good game after the update, graphics look great now.i just wish you could use the controller, motion controls dont really add anything and most of the control options have accelerate on the left trigger that just doesnt feel natural to me
@allthismalarkey thanks for reply. I bought it on sale. Great game. Like Mario kart in vr. Love that control with left hand with virtual wheen and shoot with the other
So this game is actually worth getting now? I was so hyped for this when it was shown off, I love kart racers and wanted a good VR kart racer, but 4 tracks at launch is really kind of an insult. Really this game could’ve used probably another year in development. How many tracks is it up to now?
I think it has nine tracks now, but the devs keep updating it so that that amount could be higher now 😂 I agree; I got this game at launch and was not impressed. It's in a far better state now….not perfect….but the devs feel like they are committed to the game and have continuously listened to the fans and have made massive updates….this is a game I feel like could have benefited greatly from a beta release.
By the end of the month it will be 15 and next month we plan to have 18 total ;). It is hard that there is no "early access" in PlayStation and we wanted to put this out ASAP to be able to improve the game in the right direction... we probably will never do that anymore :P
@@allthismalarkey crazy thing is that the game was in beta for around 3 months on Steam, but we got so LOW feedback that almost didn't put us on the right direction :(
@@PedroKayatt This was exactly what I need to hear for me to decide I’m going to pick it up. I appreciate developers showing such love and commitment to their work. I don’t know much about how the industry works, but I can sympathize with the team being put in a spot like that trying to get the game out asap. I hope I didn’t come off too harsh in my criticism of content at launch. I feel the game was simply announced too early, which I’m sure was the decision of the publisher. You can get away with announcing a well known fan favorite ip years before it’s ready, such as Zelda or God of War, and it won’t have any effect on sales but announcing a game like this and releasing a year plus later you run the risk of potential customers actually forgetting about the game altogether. Not going to lie I forgot until I found this video. I had every intention of checking it out later once it had more content. In any case this gives me an excuse to get my PSVR2 back out. Since getting my Quest 3 I haven’t been on PSVR2 at all. Speaking of any chance you are looking into a Quest port some time in the future?
Yep agree apart from the specilased weapon on each kart they all feel like they handle exactly the same, a bit more variety in the diving mechanics would take this game a long way.
On the more advanced tracks (we now have 12 available and more to come) you need to use more the drift or brakes to make the best movement... ohh yeah, the game has drift, we just don't teach player to press the button :P... We are trying to fix all the bugs, but everytime we create something new there are more :(
The game is just fine, but i cant stand the silly casino sound.. ruins the whole game for me. So if the developer reads this, please give as the option to turn it off.
Thanks for the feedback, I will bring this to the team. I also don't like the tingle sounds, there is an option for overall SFX, but I agree that the sorting sound has a "terrible" pitch :P
