Great car and interesting color! Full coverage in the spray booth on the first go is risky for color! Light coats is what most of the paints I use say (4-8 coats)- what paint are you using?

I use different brands, depending on the situation. For the body, lately I prefer Jumpwind - the best I've tried. I have never applied more than three coats of each individual color. If the paint applies well and the color fully reveals itself, I see no reason to apply more than 2-3 layers (depending on dilution).
