I drove U-Haul truck from Orlando to Boston and put car behind truck on rack or tow pull . If you used U-Haul truck you could have taken everything plus car . Well it’s your choice to leave stuff behind or sell it. Good luck InshaAllah reach your destination safely
you are driving within the province from one city to another and not on the TransCanada highway. once you-drive on real highway you know the difference of one-way road to two-way road.

@11:00 Most people travel to Calgary by road through US highways because they are Citizens, USA all highways are Expressway like 401, so your travel time will be reduced....You can save money during traveling in USA because cheaper hotel stay and food.....so it's better to Drive after Citizenship....you are moving, so your story is different

You should have driven via US as gas would have been much cheaper plus much faster travel on expressways. Most are free except around Chicago.

Highways are single lane in Canada outside southern Ontario because not developed and very less population compared to Gold coast of Australia....by saying this Australia have 9 highly dense population suburbs and Canada have only 4 metro like Pakistan, Canada is almost 1.5 times bigger than Australia, 80 % population of Canada just close to 50 KM north of US borders
