When it comes to wood working a mistake is fire wood. Working with steel is a little more forgiving. That is why a finished wood job is more satisfying. Keep up the good work. I hope your using non-ethanol gas its much better on small engines!

Really enjoy your videos so it was great to have you post a new one. I also run equipment so I know how hard it can be to get time on the mill. Those toeboards are really handy but I do what you did EVERY time I use them unless my son reminds me to put them down.
Great video, I wish we could smell that cider, well some day maybe. One thing on some other channels is they do a voice over, they talk us thru the whole video.
Love your videos, I am entertained almost every time. The mistakes give it that human feel. And the look on your face when you "did it again" is priceless! Laughing with you not at you.
As soon as you made that last pass it looked like your toe board was up lol , I chuckle because I've done the same thing myself. Keep up the work and keep keeping it real ! Life is busy .
I don't know about you but I have done that too. Salvage the loss and make em all the same so they have something special/LOL. I hope you don't throw that first trim the sap cut away as I see some nice board and bat stuff there. Gotta love tight knot cedar!

Thanks for showing the setup on the WM when you start a new project; I don't think I've seen that part before. Question: If your sawmill got destroyed would you buy the same WM model again, or get a different one?
I wish you had explained how you determined the height and width of intended cant before you started cutting and then how you figured the proper height so 4-1/8 would be equal on all cuts
What is the part number of the blades you are using. I might buy the equivalent for my LX150. I presently running the turbo 747 blades and they are OK but not doing as well as i think they should be.
I am curious to know what your opinion is on swing blade mills versus this style mill. Also where do you buy the bi metal blades and I imagine they are pretty pricey ?
I will add that I plan on owning a mill within a year when we move over to the east side.I plan on getting my hands on some blue pine and pine to mill all the wood for our retirement home then do some small stuff for myself and others.Great to see your videos sir.
@@NorthwestSawyer thanks for the fast reply. I guess that I should have waited til I watched a few more of your videos , as you tell me , the answer. lol

I wonder if a metal shed/awning company would donate or sell you a reduced price structure so you dont have to work in the mud..... maybe a little advertisement for them.....
Great to see you back. Thanks for sharing how it really goes. Love your videos.
Thank you, Stephen!
I got a little dizzy at 10:37, love all of the different camera angles. You really put a lot of effort into these videos, and it shows. Thanks again.
Thank you very much! It’s hard to make a sawmill video interesting without changing up the angles sometimes.
Welcome back. Thank for all the great TH-cam content. 🇺🇸
Thank you, Charles!
I never thought I could fall in love with a mill...but once again I have surprised myself!
Don’t bottle up that love!😬
Thank you for taking us with you on your day. Hope your family have a safe and fun trip.
Thank you, Daniel!
Great to see you again. Awesome video. Looking forward to the next one.
Thank you, Jeff!
Was missing your video content! Frustrating day for you but I enjoy your real to life style of videos. We have all been there and will be again!

I need a wood eraser, Reg😬
MyOLD36chevy I ONLY use clear gas. I’ve learned that lesson the hard way on my wood splitter.
@@NorthwestSawyer Aw,..you're doing just fine, no worries about mistakes being made, there are a lot of folks who wouldn't keep them in the video!

Great to see you out milling.. just slightly jealous of all that greenery in the background. Looks like summer compared to here in MN.
You keep that weather over there! At least you have a nice to bathroom to enjoy.😃
Another great video, thank you. I thought I was the only one that had brain farts! Looking forward to more videos.

Looking forward to watching this go up with your wonderful mill cutting it to start with.
It’s great to see what really happens, keep up the good work
Will do, Pete. Thank you!
We like seeing any mistakes or anything else you do.....keep up the good work and stay safe my friend....... :)
Thanks, Don! Good to hear from you.
Good to see you back making videos. I always enjoy them. I was thinking as you cut the second one "he did it again" just before you said it.
Unbelievable 🤓
Great honest video. Thanks for sharing.
Glad to see you back man. We can all appreciate messing up Be well!
Thanks, Rob! Did you end up finding a concrete guy? All my sources were too busy for side work😕

Good to see you making sawdust again. Those posts look great.
Thanks, Jeff. Unfortunately the forecast is a lot of rain for the next week. That’ll slow me down a bit.
We all have those days! Cheers!
Just a little rusty😬
It's good to know that even a seasoned sawyer messes up.
Love your channel!
Thank you, Steve!
I hate it when I repeat a mistake. 3 steps forward, 2 1/2 backwards... Keep up the great work!
Thank you, Jeremy!
Those things happen! But I’m proud of you buddy! No cussing when that log rolled off your forks, two oopsie cuts no cussing! LOL!
My kids watch😬
LOL! Gotcha! LOL!
Been there, done that, with the roller toe boards.
I can’t believe I did it twice in a row!🤦🏼♂️
@@NorthwestSawyer sort of like when I tripped o e my mill twice in the same spot, in the same day. All on video. Lol

I set all of the flitches aside for milling later.

I cut steel with a band saw for 14 years using Bi-Metal blades,,
First thing I would do is put a roof over my saw mill so I could mill during rainy weather
What is the water tank for?
Lube and cool the blade.
Closed captions for the chainsaw cutting say [Music].
Accurate.
Well that’s interesting 🤔

I did that on purpose, actually. I was trying to avoid it draining down my back😬
I cut it twice and it is still too short.
Just on one end!😬
