#54 DIY RF Learning Remote Switch | Toggle or Momentary | EEPROM based | No Hard Coding | vccground

In this video, we will learn about how to DIY a learning RF Remote Switch with Toggle and Momentary actions using ATTiny13 microcontroller and some passive components. You can make both 1 Channel or 2 Channel switches yourself very easily.
Please note that the provided hex code works only with ATTiny13.

is there any security in this system? If someone sniffs the transmission of the remote that is paired and replays it?

That can be done not even only with every RF remote system but also with most radio frequency operated devices as well...

@@the_vccground That is true, but with some Keyfob systems like the Keeloq, the transmission is encrypted with some sort of shared secret key between the transmitter and receiver, which is supposed to make it difficult to undertake replay attacks....
