It all depends how you have your water managed.
Inside most people are tards and have sumps installed. If you can’t keep a basement dry, DONT BUILD A HOUSE WITH A BASEMENT.
Outside: yea. The home builders did a very piss poor job managing water flow. It didn’t have to be a problem but because Brook Park was in a rush to build super fast after WWII, this is the result. Lack of quality’s

I grew up here. I’m 39. Moved out to Arizona for a while but back here…. For now.
Brook Park to sum it up is a poor shit town with wannabe bikers. It was over developed in the 80’s and 90’s and is now paying the price for it with lack of funds for city services.
The rec center has a 60 year old boiler that stopped working in the late 80’s.
There is no downtown and there won’t be. Ever. All residents go to southland Middleburg heights or Brookgate. Has what you need but it’s nothing special.
Most properties are .25-.3 acres so get used to that inner city suburb cramping.
