Ever camped out near Hat Creek at the base of the volcano on the north side Yup u got it BTW since U guys are out cruising eye used tu B a US Forest Service Ranger throughout California and especially the area between Lassen and the Klamath national Forest One of my Hot spots where the frequency is higher octave is up near Carter Summit above the old Gold Rush Town in Callahan in where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Carter Summit into the Russian Wilderness Take the road towards the west amd a gate on the service road about 1/4 mile on the left and that road has many sites to camp and picnic and hike up to the top of the Crest of Shasta Trinity Alps that overlooks the entire south looking east south west facing slopes Further down the road is one of the most beautiful campgrounds in California called Trail Creek It has the largest California Sugar pine Tree in California in that site and ultimately that road takes to the Forks of the Salmon Rivers through the Alps and Ud swear ur in the French Alps where it comes out to the Klamath River near Orleans Have fun Mu ah VA 💋 🌈 Mu 🌈
Ooooh we are so saving this info!! Thank you! We LOVE that area around Klamath so much. We were just there last summer and it was epic. We were in Lassen in October and it was snowing like crazyyy at Hat Creek haha. We have to go back in the dead of summer one year.
