I remember doing the last trial and ended up not drinking the poison and guessed where I had to go after hearing the noise in the voicemail which sounded like a train or a boat and ended up choosing the location next to the river thinking the location was near a pier/dock. I was right I was so hyped lol

Except he didn’t do anything “bad”. He wasn’t a bad person. He was a father depressed that he lost his son. And to make things worse he suffers from PTSD and black outs from being hit from a car . And to make things even worse his son was kidnapped by a serial killer! Ethan was a good person.. it’s horrible what he had to go through

I mean, in the first movie someone got placed in a trap because they skipped a work day.. Another one in the third movie because they were taking antidepressants.. In the seventh movie a girl who was placed in the trap was innocent (but you can blame that on Hoffman/Jigsaw being Hoffman) Ethan is a good guy, yes, but he technically isn’t ‘appreciating life’, and that’s good enough for Jigsaw
Ethan will drive to the wrong address which turns out to be a restaurant and then he will start panicking and apologizing to Shaun for not being able to save him because of his mistake.
Could anybody help me get through the power plant gate. I pressed all 3 buttons at the same time. Still to no avail. Help me please. I can't get through the power plant barbwire gate. On heavy rain.
Damn man its been 2 years but I'll leave a comment for future people ig. Chances r u are probably choosing the wrong "gate" of wires. There will be one gate of wires per row that are not visibily electrified and are the only safe.ones Ethan can pass through.

i new he was the killer and his wife who hired him.Wen he took the box from the fhater in the night shop and the tiperwiter on his desk his wife beqause she only came rarely in the story and always blamed Ethan even going to the police when he was close to find is kid
Passing all of the trials guarantees that Ethan finds the right location [albeit morally ambiguous], but there are alternate ways for Ethan to get there: ----------------------------------- - If he passes 3-4 trials, it's possible to guess the location after completing The Rat trial chapter (either failing or succeeding) by using the hangman words and listening to the phone. The clues will give a general idea. - If he passes 2 or fewer trials, then Ethan cannot guess and will not be able to rescue Shaun. HOWEVER, if Madison survives the Killer's Place chapter and knows where Shaun is being held, she can phone up Ethan and tell him Shaun's location, which will bring the ending as if he had successfully guessed or completed the trials. (Jayden can also be alerted if he fails his last ARI evidence section, or Madison can go alone)
