Glennis, one of our best female pop/soul singers. When I close my eyes, I hear Whitney, and this Run To You cover is my favorite of her. It’s sad though most people only know here because of her Whitney Houston covers. She started her career winning a Dutch TV show called ‘the Soundmixshow’ covering Whitney Houston. She never has been succesfull with her own songs. I do not even know if she has any.
In the video of Danny Vera you we wondering about Country music in the Netherlands. The person who is a great country artist is Ilse de Lange (also written like Ilse Delange) . She also had a small part in the US serie Nashville. "Old" hits of her are World of hurt, I still cry, I'm not so tough. Since a few years she's part of The common linnets. Songs of the common linnets are calm after the storm, we don't make the wind blow, love still goes on. Hope you enjoy any of the suggestions.

I believe there is an English phrase that describes it well "FLABERGASTED" Glennis has a very large repertoire of songs including covers but also own songs. But back to the beginning. How do you spell it ?? A N U O K. (And so the speech confusion started) Something strange seemed to come true. At 2:49. you almost pronounce it as it should, ANOUK 99.5% correct I would say. There was a little bit of accent from the south of the USA. ;). But explain why you laughed when your brother repeated it. Does it have anything to do with the lower body? Keep on going.

Glennis and Floor, are in my opinion the two best female singers we got, but ofc... thats a personal opinion. (there's a bunch who are on par with them tho, Simone Simmons, Sharon den Adel, Anneke van Giersbergen and a whole lot more amazing singers)

The first song i listed was his entry to Eurovision song contest, the second one of his biggest hits and the last is a tribute to Willie Nelson.
