Pulling twin carbs is wicked. May I suggest a Honda 90 thumb throttle and/or lighter return springs in the carbs themselves. But for sure converting back to a thumb throttle of any sort will help. Quads use a different way of turning than a bike and it makes it more work to twist the throttle on a quad than on a bike. Anyways thanks for the content love the videos!
it works fine, i ride 15 years quads and only 10 years ive been converting thumb throttle. i use to race quads and thumb throttle isn't working because the cramps are difficult, its better to use the whole hand then just 1 finger or thumb.

After doing a bit of research for here in my state inspired by your video I've come to find I might be able to register and insure a dirtbike or atv for road use in my state (or at least in my city), so maybe there is hope for a street legal two stroke in my future after all. Dad might be super happy to hear that since he can ride quads still just not off road since he's disabled and it wears him out in minutes.
