    Ms. Hooper, Well done! Your video was easy and comprehensive. I am not a project manager per se, but I have utilized the skills that call for project management. I am creating a WBS for an MBA assignment, and your presentation is spot on. I can actually see utilizing your info as a reference for an effective and productive project. For this, I thank you!

    This was very useful nudge to ensure I consider a process v. product WBS. Thank you so much.

    Love the video. Do you mind sharing what software you used to create the Chart? I am looking to make a chart similar to the style in your video

      Hi Donna, I used Smart Art inside PowerPoint (or Word) to make the WBS. Select the hierarchy option, then edit. Let me know if you're not sure how and I'll send a quick video. Email: btminternational@gmail.com

    How to store the WBS element creation into our local system folder, can you please explain

    • @thooper1000
      @thooper1000  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can store it as a file or image. For example, the one in the video was built in PowerPoint using SmartArt. You could snip it (Windows + Shift + S on keyboard), paste into MS Paint or PhotoShop and save it as a jpeg image. Otherwise I paste the WBS directly into the project plan or scope management plan (MS Word file) or build it in MS Word using SmartArt. Does that help with your question?

    By work item do you mean work package

    • @thooper1000
      @thooper1000  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Ajike, a work item or item of work could mean a deliverable, work package or an individual task/activity, depending on what I was discussing at the time of the video (most likely a work package or task/activity). Consider it as something that needs to be done on the project, so if the same thing (deliverable, work package or task/activity) appears twice on the WBS, it may get done twice, or if its completely missing, it won't get done at all. Does that help?

    • @ajikeezichi4501
      @ajikeezichi4501 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it's does. Thanks for the explanation. I'm preparing for CAPM at the moment and your video came helpful.
