    Awesome video...changed my clockspring on my 2013 elantra GT. Just remember to insert the connectors onto the clockspring CAREFULLY and not mis-align them. Also, ensure all the connectors are fully inserted! Otherwise the pins may not align correctly and none of the buttoms may work...I had to take it apart 2 more times before i got it right. Otherwise, great video.

      Buttons on the steering wheel were also playing up e.g. volume, cruise control

      @Daniel it probably just start ripping the ribbon cable that wrap around in the clock spring

    Awesome video. I had a bad clock spring in your instructions were the best I found on the internet. Fix the problem with the airbag light. The clockspring was under extended warranty but the dealership wouldn't honor it because it was salvage title. Purchased the clockspring on eBay for $12 dealership wanted about a hundred.

    Thanks so much for this video. It was extremely helpful by showing the step by step procedure...including the details like 21mm socket and release pins for airbags. Saved me a lot of time, money, and frustration. Thanks again!!

    Well done video good job I'm just wondering did they change something I ask because the first thing they teach you to do is taking the battery cable off ten minutes before doing anything with the air bag I have seen those go off before that no fun getting hit by it or even the getting your ears to stop ringing just wondering thanks for the video.

    • @DULLAHGOSOHARD
      @DULLAHGOSOHARD  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you should disconnect the battery for safe

    Hey, nice, my multiswitch going bad, lights off in dark! The steering wheel came off without a puller?

    • @Mystikalrush
      @Mystikalrush 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think mine is going bad to, my dash and lights flicker. The blinker switch isn't too expensive, but did you have to remove everything in this video to replace yours? Or can you just remove the coverings and unplug the switch?

    Great video. Very good camera angles and excellent verbal description of the process!
    Doesn’t the battery need to be disconnected to avoid accidental airbag deployment?

  • @freddywayne
    @freddywayne 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    I might need to do this on my 2013 Kia Optima because the fog lights don't come on and there is no fog light indicator light on the dashboard either. But, the headlights and turn signals work fine. However, I did notice the H8 female connector on the passenger side fog light was different and the wiring was not one piece. Fuses seem to be fine too.

    what does it mean when your horn constantly goes off is it a relay switch or do I need to open the steering wheel to disconnect the horn

    • @DULLAHGOSOHARD
      @DULLAHGOSOHARD  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It can be the relay or the horn switch start by checking the relay
